Very quiet and small resort. Ideal for a short relaxing getaway.
My friend described it as a hidden treasure of Portugal.
Plenty of seafood restaurants which were outstanding. If you like to shop this is not the place to go.

A super location, good beaches, the sea front fish...
A super location, good beaches, the sea front fish restaurants are overpriced, but quality is good , look further back from the seafront for more reasonable pricing. Go see the castle, excellent views, go to Setubal and Cabo Espichel. Wine farms nearby too.

This is an amazing town with clear water beaches.
This is an amazing town with clear water beaches. You can find restaurants with great fresh fish. Sometimes it can be a bit windy though. It is close to Lisbon so you can do other things if the weather is under.

Excellent in every aspect.
Excellent in every aspect. Breakfast and dinner beyond expectation. Frontdesk and other personnel very well trained and sympathetic. Worth spending several days there. Fabio, from the lounge and his young team até happy to prepare your favourite drinks.
Outside and very near there is a small restaurant that is specialized in fish food and shells. Also, worth a visit.

Sesimbra is a sympathetic village by the ocean.
Sesimbra is a sympathetic village by the ocean. It is beautifully situated and has golden yellow beaches Virtually no international mass tourism and I like that. In and around the village many good restaurants and a visit to the castle is definitely worthwhile. If you come by car there are plenty of excursion possibilities.

It is s beautiful place, there is not many international tourists, it's mostly local tourists, the beach is amazing. There is a lot to see both nature wise and museums. It's definitely not a party city, but the people are so friendly and the service is great 🥰
Casa da Terra lies on the hills of sunny sesimbra as if it had been there since the dawn of time.
The light fills every spacious room as if it was a fellow roommate. Elegant decour, creating an inviting space were you Will spend amazing moments
Jade was tireless in making everything to our liking and we cant thank her enough
I urge everyone to delight on everything this region and this stay has to oferece
Great place in terms of location and it was perfect for the first part of our trip to Portugal. Views were amazing and a great location to see the marina and the beach is literally just over the road. Breakfast was very nice with a great choice each day. Staff were very helpful and always impressed us and should be proud of the service they provided.
The location of the apartment is up at an elevation making it quiet, scenic and beautiful. You can walk down some steps to the street and then walk 10 minutes to the village. The village of Sesimbra is a truly authentic traditional Portuguese fishing village. Everything is there for your holiday enjoyment - the best fish restaurants in the world!
Compact but actually pretty spacious, very clean, soundproof (noise from the street can get quite loud due to the traffic but it’s barely noticeable from the inside). We had a workation and found the accommodation perfect for this. Small grocery shop and cafés a footstep away, Sesimbra beach & town 10-min drive away. Highly recommended
The location is amazing! I was impressed with so many details in the apartment and was very happy with our decision of staying there. It’s a really nice place for a couple and no matter how many days you decided to stay in Sesimbra, it’s very well localized and so close to many great restaurants and stores. The view is breathtaking :)
Outstanding location in the heart of Sesimbra straight on the beach!
Easy parking inside the property
The hotel looks like a cruise ship, 10 floors, ocean views, very cool
Dinner was really good and staff is very friendly
Very friendly staff on reception and restaurant
Good size of the rooms and big bathrooms.
The house has a great space, very spacious (bigger than we thought), amazing view with beautiful beach decorations, great location, short walk to the closest beach. Susana is a brilliant host that makes sure you feel at home providing everything we needed for our stay and was very easy to contact.
A hidden gem. Perfect modern apartment in a traditional seaside town. Literally 45 secs from a beautiful beach. Photographs on website do not do it justice. Clean comfortable with a very homely feel. Susana the owner helped out with any queries we had immediately. Perfect relaxing place to stay.
This is very nice, recently modernized apartment, perfectly located, facing the ocean, with private garage for a car. Views from window are unbelievably beautiful. Staying was really great, didn't want to come back, so good was the time in Sesimbra.
Rooms were lovely and spacious. Although the hotel was about a 10 minute walk to the beach it was downhill all the way but tough walk back. There is a courtesy car you can book slots. Food and drinks in the hotel were reasonably priced.
I loved stay at Vila do Sol. It is a little butic hotel with very friendly and warm owner. Best place to relax and enjoy live next to the pool in the quiet spot of Sasimbra village.
Yvonne was the sweetest lady ever. She really contributed with some good moments to our stay. The hotel was looking over sesimbra, therefore it had a nice view
