I loved staying in Koror, the people are very friendly and the nature is superb. It is however very expensive and it is not easy to find places where you can hit the water to swim or kayak - without going on a tour or staying on a expensive hotel.

It's a good place with lots of lovely areas to visit. Great for diving, snorkeling and kayaking. Although there are lots of dive sites it is hard to find dive shops that will take you to wrecks. Most of them go to the most famous dive sites every day (Blue hole, German channel etc) Some good restaurants too such as The Cove, The Drop Off, Fisherman's Grill and Elilai.

A gorgeous island where the people are welcoming.
A gorgeous island where the people are welcoming. I wish I had seen more of it. We were on a dive trip. We had a incredible time but we were so tired at the end of each day our last day we decided to rest and stay at the hotel, The Cove, witch was beautiful and relaxing.

If you are looking for a snorkelling paradise the Palau is the place. I’ve been to a number of South Pacific Islands and this is certainly one of the best. Its extremely safe and has a laid-back Island feel.
The snorkelling is first class and the jelly fish trip is a must. We went on our tours with Fish and Fins Diving, they exceeded our expectations, very professional and great to deal with
The staff was great and very helpful. It's a big room with a living room, the bedroom and a kitchen at the back. It was great to have a fridge for drinks and snacks. There is a restaurant on site with good food and friendly staff. Lots of places are still closed due to COVID but we did find a few places where the locals eat near the hotel. There is a mini mart a short walk from the hotel with almost everything you need. The Palau Royal Resort is a short walk away with a great Sunday brunch and a $10 USD day pass the use the pool and beach.
This hotel is conveniently located to Fish N’ Fins dive shop, which is who we dove with for the two weeks we were there. This is not the Ritz-Carlton, but the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is great, and while some of the procedures are not what we are used to (e.g. they still use actual keys for the rooms), our stay was great. We had to extend because of a typhoon and the staff was very accommodating. My favorite part, however, was the ability to snorkel in the lagoon whenever we wanted. It was lovely. I will stay here again!
The Service and the whole staff were outstandingly friendly and courteous. This was by far the Most relaxed experience we ever had. Front Desk was supporting us with all our Individual Requests, Drivers were always on Time and really Polite and the Room Service was doing a Great Job and always had a smile on their lips. Thank you whole Caroline Team for making our Palau Experience so Special.
We chose the resort for the pool and beach but unfortunately the weather didn't play ball and we had rain and also suffered from bad colds during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is close to a number of good places to eat but the hotel restaurant was empty in the evening (possibly closed?). Overall the hotel was empty with what seemed to be hardly anyone staying.
Huge room. Clean and with all necessities.
Very convenient location, right above King Palace restaurant. Far enough from the center of Koror, but still within the walking distance (15 minutes) to restaurants and shopping.
The owner, Stephanie, was amazing. Very kind and always willing to help. Thank you! I will be back!
The friendliness of the staff is Exceptional! Special thanks to Joy for always being there to answer any questions and support in planning the activities. The hotel is located in the middle of the city, so lots of restaurants and bars to enjoy after the active day.
So many things to love about this hotel. excellent location, excellent breakfast, and a warm and caring staff that is always willing to go the extra mile. Special thanks to Joy and Marc at the front desk as well as Irving and Rose in housekeeping.
It is really nice and comfortable place, cool beach, room is very big and spacious, staff is very friendly and try to help the guest with any question, Wi-Fi was excellent and be available on all space of the hotel, the price is great
Beautiful hotel, stylish cottages connected by wooden walkways, garden full of tropical plants and flowers, bright and clean rooms, friendly staff, nice restaurant and swimming pool with jacuzzi, beautiful beach with a coral reef
Beautiful grounds, impressive swimming pool, and very relaxing. Amazing hosts arranged wonderful tours with knowledgeable guides, very proactive to our needs. They ensured we had a great experience in Palau.
Breakfast was very good, especially eggs to order. Just a great place to stay in Palau. 5-star experience at 3-star prices. Palau's new taxes are outrageous and I am concerned they will drive down tourism
They use Chinese but there is no inconvenience because they speak English well. On the last day, after finishing the jellyfish tour, we had to go to the airport, they provided a space for us to shower.
The room was spacious, and had a nice sink which was made from a giant clam. The staff were very nice and helpful taking care of our needs. The location was close to the airport and the dive shop.
Spacious rooms, great location in the center of Koror. The ocean view was particularly nice, as was the balcony. Nice pool area and good breakfast. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Tranquil part of Koror. Big rooms. Helpful manager and staff. Will organise anything you ask of him Lovely open areas.Great wifi
