Bedroom comfy. Nice view. Clean. Close to L60 bus stop. The staff helped to make some calls for me as I couldn't connect to the french telephone system. Close to the centre through a nice shortcut. Can use the main kitchen which is fully equipped.

We reserved a standard room and got a free upgrade. The room was spacious, bright, came with tea/coffee facilities, TV, shower and separate toilet. Very comfortable.
Apart from that we liked the swimming pool and the view from the breakfast room. The hotel offers many other amenities such as a very cozy lounge with pool table. The staff was very friendly and there were many exciting hiking trails within walking range. A very nice place.

Nice place but the main street was under construction.
Nice place but the main street was under construction. So not that pretty, but once it will be finished it will be nice. Did two hikes and got good info at the tourist information. Try the creps at the small café near to the church in the new buildings. Delicious

I would recommend timing your stay correctly so as to avoid stormy roads on the 420 bend road to Cilaos. I would also recommend you take a drone for drone photography; Cilaos is magnificent and a drone could help show that a bit better.

Free breakfast is bonus even it is only jam and butter (with juice, coffee, tea or cocoa), to have some cheese or ham would be nice, but for one night stay it was good enough and tasty with small piece of water melon.

The bathrooms were clean enough and the bed was comfy. I never met the hosts but they knew enough English to help me check in by phone as I arrived after 6 pm and called them to let them know.
