The room was very spatious and clean, while the bed was huge and comfortable. The bathroom facilities were also very good.
The modern way to unlock the door was interesting and new to me.

We were only there for one night, but were completely satisfied. Our car was safely parked in the backyard and the room was large and clean. Quietly located, but still in the center. Very friendly staff :) We can recommend it!

A large chunk of the town is just in the famous communist fashion - boring blocks of flats, lots of concrete. Instead there is a part with nice houses and lots of green. There's also a nice park and a huge wandering area in the nature. I recommend the town just for that.
Lots of nice places to visit are within one hour driving - both nature and man-made: mountains to climb, gorges, caves, monasteries and churches, folk art.

Ramnicu Valcea was not my aim of the trip but having a peaceful and silent stay at PH Panoramic hotel. And further peacefulness of the forest. But Râmnicu Vâlcea supports the environment and beauty in this regard.

it's a great Romanian city, filled with spirituality and amazing people. even if the city lost its glamour (back in the 80's it was one of the best locations in Europe for therapy and balnear treatments), you could still find nice places and unique ancient sites and monasteries to be impressed of.

Good food.
Good food. Small town, everything is at walking distance with some nice cafes and restaurants. Good air. Light traffic. Good for bycicle trails and hill climbs for jogging enthusiastes. Good food at D’Amici, good coffee at Bean Belt. Nice parks for kids to play around.
Good location, exceptional room, very stylish. We stayed in an apartment decorated in a Japanese style, which we absolutely loved. The room was very clean and the facilities were great. The hotel is in a very quiet area, yet very close to the city center. Disclaimer: we stayed in what is probably the most expensive room available at this hotel, but I imagine that the other (normal) rooms have the same high quality and artistic style.
I have first stayed at this hotel about 10 years ago, and since then I stayed here at least 20 times, and at least once a year. This hotel is an *exceptionally* well run family business. The rooms are *very* clean, large, and have big balconies. The AC is very strong, and easily handle hot weather. The rooms also have fridge, tv, and very large bathrooms. From the rooms you have beautiful views of the hills around Ramnicu Valcea.
Breakfast was very delicious and the staff was always friendly enough to let us enjoy it for a bit longer than the proposed hours.
The room is very spacious and the view to the park was absolutely amazing!
The central location makes the hotel extremely easy to find and it gives you a sense of security at all times.
The hotel is easy to find, a little chic hotel restaurant near one of the main roads of the city. Parking is right behind, with enough spaces for the guests. Reception is small but cosy, and the room was clearly more that I expected, in terms of size and cleanliness.
The hotel is located in a central area of Ramnicu Valcea.
The room is huge and looks amazing.
They have a posh restaurant right at the hotel where you can enjoy a good wine and dinner.
The staff is super friendly, and the breakfast was great!
Staff is super friendly, the location is good (10 mins from center), there is a nice restaurant nearby, parking is free in the hotel's private parking, everything is super clean. Design is very nice and the price/quality ratio is pretty OK.
The hotel is located near the city center on a hill that offers a good view of the city (if you are lucky, you can have the view from the room's balcony).
The property offers spacious rooms, clean and with AC and small frigde.
If the Hotel does not employ Mrs. Ioana in the reception, the Hotel will get absolute negative evalation. Only because of her smile, positive atitude and effort to solve all occured problems I did not cancel my stay...
Located really close to the center of the city, in a nice houses only neighborhood, the hotel met all our expectations. The reception is open 24h, there was private parking at the location and the rooms were enormous.
It's a good place to take a rest between Transfagrasan and Transalpina. Biker friendly.
The owner is a very kind person. Have a small shop, right inside a hotel. Beverages 5+
All was good.
