We booked a double room for a night. The location was clean and nice. We arrived late in the evening and left early in the morning. For a night was perfect. The breakfast was ok, but pay attention that is “a la carte”, you have to choose from 3-4 types of dishes . For us was ok.

We’d like to return to La Strada. Now we are even thinking about a small future vacation in the area, based in Sebes.
First of all, on our arrival we found an impeccable and very well equipped apartment. Pleasant and calm accommodation with very convenient private parking. Friendly and quick communication with the host. Nice little touches awaited us in the fridge when we arrived.
And we really liked that the host asked us if we would like it to be warmer in the apartment!
It is now clear that this apartment exceeded our expectations.

Sebes is a pleasing blend of old and new.
Sebes is a pleasing blend of old and new.
The wood industry is the main employer and it is not without controversyy. There is a busy Green Party office in the centre.
On the positive side there is full employment which accentuates the underlying friendliness of a place I had visited before when times were not so easy.
On my first day I accidentally dropped a small piece of paper from my pocket while walking along the main street. This was spotted by a driver in slow-moving traffic who called out: 'sir you dropped something!'
The centre has some nice public buldings and churches and there is a very good restaurant called 'Crema Turm' where I ate twice and which is easy to spot.

Nice town..lots of interesting things everywhere but you...
Nice town..lots of interesting things everywhere but you need to spend time looking. Check out Mr Binders House and the birthplace of a guy named Carl Filtsch..he was a child prodigy of Chopin but died when he was only 14.
Around the corner is a list of local citizens sent off to the Romanian and Russian gulags..never to return.
And oddly enough if you are from Australia or from New Zealand there is a cafe in town that makes and sells Pavlova...
The flat is located in a new quarter of the prospering small town of Sebes. The top floor flat had a nice roof space which looked on to some small farms with green hills behind. The bedroom was bright and comfortable and the kitchen really didn't lack much. (Fridge seemed new) Hot water was readily available along with both a bath and shower.
Finally, the centre of Sebes is very nice and has a 'go-ahead' feel to it.
Location across the road from hypermarket. Not too far from the city center either (Sebeș is a small town anyway, so no place is far away).
Clean rooms.
Very good communication with the owner.
Breakfast and dinner were available at the location, and the Italian cook made us some nice meals, at a fair price.
Large yard, with sufficient parking spots available.
We booked this at the very last minute (we were 5 minutes away) and they were very accommodating. Location perfect if you are going from the train as we were.
The highlight was the staff they were so incredibly nice and helpful.
Also we were able to have drinks and a nice dinner, which made us happy to not have to leave the hotel for that after a long day

Clean, comfortable room with nice big bathroom and great shower pressure, pretty close to city center. I highly recommend Da Vincenzo Pizzeria e Ristorante in Sebes! Excellent pizza.

Location was on the edge of the town and was fairly easy to find. Parking was available. This was a basic hotel and breakfast was included which was adequate.
