The hotel is near the Citadel. The breakfast was very good with Romanian traditional homemade products. The room was big enough and it was cleaned every day.

Sighisoara is a walled medieval city with beautiful architecture. The Sighisoara Hotel serves absolutely wonderful food all day. You can easily walk the whole city. I would not go to the Dracula room, which is a hokey haunted house-type thing with bats and a vampire that sits up in his coffin. I was hoping for a history of Vlad Dracul.

I love the citadel and I always go back with excitement. Just to walk around, climb up to the church and admire the view, visit the Clock Tower, and hang around in this lovely part of the city is great. A lot of cozy terraces full of good places to eat and have a beer makes me come back every other year.

This is a wonderful city to explore for the history and the great food options. The cobble stone streets, the old fortress, multiple churches, and museums offer many places to explore on foot. The restaurant selection is excellent. We enjoyed every restaurant we visited and felt the food, service, and quality were outstanding.

The old city with its towers (Clock Tower, Tinsmiths' Tower, Butchers' Tower, Tailors' Tower, Furriers' Tower, Ironsmiths' Tower etc), as well as the wooden staircase are something you should not miss. The old city starts at 5 minutes walking distance from Binderbubi Hotel. You can spend there about one-two hours (depending on your schedule) and thereafter you can stop to eat something at one of the restaurants in the area. We opted for Gasthouse Altepost.

Sighişoara is utterly charming.
Sighişoara is utterly charming. A truly beautiful small town full of bright, colourful, historical architecture. Around every corner is another pretty cobbled lane filled with picture-perfect painted buildings. The crowning glory is its 14th Century Clock Tower.
We visited out of season (early Oct 2023) and it was perfect. Lovely blue skies, warm enough to walk around without a coat during the day but cool in the evenings. At night we'd wrap up warm so we could sit outside to eat and take in the beautiful town. The food is hearty and the restaurants we visited provided blankets for those sat outside.
We stayed for 2 nights in the old town and wish we could have stayed longer. Most people only visit for a few hours because it's tiny but for us, we were so glad we didn't do this, we like to travel slower than most.
I would love to return to this beautiful town.
If you are visiting a medieval citadel, as Sighișoara is, try to stay away from stars hotels, Casa Wagner offers you a way to relive the past, with a bit of modern comfort insertion. Old furniture, interior design as it was decades or maybe centuries ago. Of course you will not sleep on hay, or go to the bathroom in a night pot, but the ambiance in Casa Wagner tries and, in my opinion, succeeds to offer you a glimpse of history.
Many thanks to the employees and congratulations for the way they are doing their job nowadays.
Nice, cozy and clean room. Comfortable and large beds. Large bathroom with free toiletries. Room has AC and fridge. Perfect location, on the main street, right below the old town. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of option to choose from. The restaurant is great: beautifully arranged, friendly staff, generous portions, and really tasty food. And the price for the room with breakfast included is really affordable. I highly recommend this location if looking for a central & cozy room in Sighisoara!
I noticed this hotel on my way to get the kids from the airport. I decided to stay here on my return, as everyone in school knew they come to Transylvania. And the kids were just excited when they saw the hotel name and the room. It was a big room, on two levels and it was just perfect. Clean and tidy and very decent conditions. It's a good base for exploring the medieval city if you have a car. If you don't, there's a bust stop just in front of the hotel.
Conveniently located on the main road, very close to the Historic Centre of Sighișoara, the hotel is my first choice when visiting the area. I knew what to expect from an accommodation perspective, but the biggest surprise was the food choices in the new restaurant menu. Friendly staff, everything extremely clean, fantastic food ... all these made it a great stay. Will definitely return, or at least stop by when I'm around.
This was my 2nd stay at Hotel Claudia and both of my visits were outstanding. The entire staff is very professional and helpful in every way.
Please forgive me for not remembering the names of some of the staff but I like to mention a special thank you to Denisa who made my check-in easy fast and smooth. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans on visiting Sighisoara.
Superb place to stay in Sighisoara. Historical building nicely preserved, with lots of beautiful restored furniture. Super friendly staff and easy chech in/out process. Located outside the citadel,m but with direct access to it. This is perfect, since at night the citadel empties, and dinner & drinks places are mostly beyond the walls. Breakfast at the place is nearly perfect.
very charming property with traditional Romanian flare and the hotel is actually a historical building! the bathroom renovation was tastefully done to go with the rest of the property. the palinca shot was a nice welcome gesture. we loved our stay and wish we didn’t have to leave so early to miss the breakfast - it likely would have been delicious.
The apartment was equipped better than we expected. Everything was new. Very high standard. Check in was very easy, the owner send us the door code in text message. There is a free parking near the bulding. Few steps from the old town, very nice view from window. If you want to visit Sighisoara this is your place
The place is situated in the city center, reachable by car - paid parking spots nearby the hotel.
The breakfast was very good.
Also we would like to thank the Ukrainian cleaning lady who was so kind especially with our daughter with whom they conversated in Russian.
Location is excellent if you want to explore Sighisoara Old Town. Hotel sits right on the main square. Old Town is small, so everything is easily reached form the hotel. Restaurant downstairs is good, too, if a little pricey. But it is directly in the main square.
Excellent location - a very short walk from the centre of Sighisoara. Free private parking. Our room at the front of the hotel met our needs well (during the annual medieval festival which we highly recommend) - but not sure that other rooms were as good.
Everything about the hotel was excellent! Perfect location in the walled citadel, the staff was very friendly, the rooms were beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious! The value was amazing, and we were so sad to leave.
The hotel is perfectly located in the citadel of Sighisoara with amazing staff and a great restaurant attached. Perfect for a one or two night when travelling in the area. The rooms are also well designed and modern.
Breakfast was great! Hotel right in the square of old town. I love the ambiance of the Fronius-an old building with old world feeling. I've stayed here once before and would every time visiting this area of Romania
Beautiful boutique hotel repurposed from a 100 year old building near the center of Sighișoara with private parking and an amazing buffet breakfast. Friendly staff and owner who made us feel welcome.
Excellent little hotel in the heart of Sighisoara. The staff is highly professional and very friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed.
