The host was so welcoming, nice and helpful, I thought he was the owner of the place. The food was really delicious, and the portions were huge. If you like fish, you have to try trouts which are grown directly at this place in the water from Lisina waterfall. Rooms are new and perfectly clean.

Location is fantastic, it is inside the protected naational park, somewhere where you woudn't believe that you could build a house in. You need to pay entrance fee to the park, to get to your accomodation, but it is a vary small fee and if valid for many entries. Hosts are really accomodating, they are very nice and fiendly... we felt welcomed. There is a fridge filled with all kinds of juices, sodas, alcoholic beverages, priced as in local markets, which is very good because local markets are not so close by, none in the park area. In front of the house there is an enourmous field which we used to lie on when night fell and watched the stars, which we love to do, but you need an altitude and lack of pollution for that.

This apartment is a time machine to the 80-s! Unique and exceptional design in every detail! I've been to a LOT of apartments and this one is undoubtedly the most interesting one. The design brings you back in time, to Yugoslavia. At the same time all the furniture is in decent condition.
The location is also great, a lot of tourist attractions are nearby.
The apartment is huge. For this moderate price you will get 2 floors. Living room, kitchen and bathroom on the first floor and 4 bedrooms on the second floor. We only needed 2 bedrooms, though.
An absolutely unique place that makes you want to come back there again!

Our stay at the in Panjevac, Serbia was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family. Sladjana, a talented master chef, catered to all of our varied dietary preferences and we looked forward to each and every meal. Her cheese potato onion Burrek was especially delicious. they even when out of their way to celebrate a birthday !
Zvonko, Sladjana's partner, proudly displayed his hunting trophies and both of them were incredibly down to earth and graceful hosts. We enjoyed evenings of Rakija, a local drink, engaging in long conversations with them.
The guest house itself was picture-perfect, nestled in beautiful surroundings. We had the opportunity to feed deer, interact with sheep, and even go on treks and trails. Additionally, there were numerous nearby attractions such as monasteries, caves, and waterfalls to explore.
Overall, our family had an unforgettable time and we're already looking forward to returning. We highly recommend this guest house for a peaceful and enjoyable vacation.

It is a small city with good food and lot of green around.
It is a small city with good food and lot of green around. But it is a good middle point where to stay, if you want to visit places nearby that are truly amazing. The Hotel Resava where we stayed, is a good election as very cozy and great views and peaceful. A 2 or 3 days trip is the right amount for visiting all places around.

Despotovac and its surroundings offer many places for visiting,just a short distance from the town. Monasteries,caves,waterfalls,beautiful viewpoints on Mt.Beljanica,jeep tours, horse riding, paragliding,walking tours,visiting farms, tasting excellent craft beer, hunting and much more. Our favorite places are waterfall Lisine and monasteries Gornjak and Manasija.
Many restaurants offer fresh trout from mountain rivers or delicious food prepared in a traditional way- in clay pots. Try some excellent food in restaurant around waterfall Lisine or Zov Homolja, close to Krupajsko vrelo.
Local roads are in rather good condition, with lots of curves,but that just adds to the beauty of this area.
