the hotel is just opposite the airport entrance and a couple of minutes to the arrival and departure area.- the shuttle was a pick-up by the staff, an excellent solution as i arrived at 3am in the night.- i have no comparison with other african hotels - at first sight it seemed small and dark with dim light, but finally it was reasonably clean. no mosquitoes (!), flies, ants or any kind of bugs. some small repairs could be done, for ex. the door of the shower cabin was broken.- the tv was not connected, but as i never look tv on my trips, i did not ask for the reason. wifi was excellent all over the hotel. the staff very friendly and helpful.- all in all a middle class hotel, good solution if you want to be near the airport.

The staff were absolutely amazing. I was in transit for twelve hours, so booked them on Booking. The TV was not working and quite frankly I discovered closer hotels opposite the airport but staying here was the best thing that could have happened to me. I was asked back into the airport by Animal Control & security to clear some boxes and staff escorted and waited outside for me for over two hours. They went above and beyond to tell me about their country and people, took me out to lunch and paid for it as I did not have the local currency and no one took cards and also helped me plan my next trip to see Gorillas in Rwanda. The staff had studied tourism and as this was my area of interest, they explained that they would look up more information on my behalf while proposing more interesting itineraries. They booked my return taxis to ensure I got to the airport on time ...I could go on and on - basically this was the best experience possible. All I needed was a bed to rest and a place shower but I got soo much more!!

This is literally the best guest house I have been in, not just in Rwanda but in all of Africa. I would definitely encourage anyone to stay with these amazing, friendly, helpful team. Simply the best. Also my 4yr old is autistic and non-verbal but make quite alot of noises 😅 but thank goodness our host are autism-friendly and they when above and beyond the entire time we was there to make him as comfortable as possible. I felt so bad because my son was being a bit much but these people was sent by God!!! Thank you for your amazing hosting and we look forward to visiting again very soon!
