We stayed for almost a week for a ski holiday! Everything was really nice, the cottage, the ski center, the slopes! During our stay were extrem temperatures -30C but the staff did everything to make sure the center stays open and all the guests have enough heat in their cottages! It was kind of relaxing to be in the middle of nowhere…

Brilliant little apartment - warm, cosy, wonderful huge windows to catch the morning light in the kitchen - big bed, and a 15 minute walk to the centre of Arvika. I have friends in Arvika, and this was my 8th visit, but it was really great to be able to be by myself during an intense week of teaching drawing workshops at one of the schools. I much appreciated being able to cook my own meals, and I was also able to host a dinner for some friends which was much appreciated.
There is a garage for a car but I had come by train so didn't need. There is an great washing machine in the cellar that could do a quick 1 hour wash, and my clothes dried quickly in the warmth of the apartment. There is a cot for a baby if needed, and two sofa beds in the living room. ICA and COOP supermarkets are just a ten minute walk away too. Arvika is a great little town with a lot going on musically and artistically - plus the Arvika Ljus! Light festival in late Autumn - so I would recommend just coming for a holiday!
