Lack of cleanliness, we only received one small blanket for two people in a large bed. The room is cold, the windows are dirty, the shower gel and the shampoo bottle are empty. At 2 o'clock in the morning, loud music was played, it was impossible to sleep. the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

This establishment is a very convenient location, a few minutes walk from the Central Station in Halmstad. The breakfast is very elaborate and sumptuous. The staff is cooperative and friendly. The lounges are extremely comfortable, homely and with a very friendly and welcoming vibe to it. There is always a coffee pot on the boil with ginger cookies at hand. No charges. I will always like to come back to the Continental.

Given I arrived at 02:00 in the morning the check in procedure was perfect as the staff had been very helpful in accommodating my somewhat unusual circumstances. The place was incredibly clean and the facilities perfect for my needs. Bed was particularly comfortable and room quiet.
