Pleasant hotel near the harbour of Kalmar in walking distance to the city centre. I had a room with a view of the harbour, which was really nice. Very good breakfast, wit lots different options, including (but not limited to) fresh bread, fruit, cheese. The evening meals were also fine (it's not à la carte, but it's still good), and so was the Swedish fika in the afternoon with coffee & cake (which I really enjoyed).

Very good location next to the castle, old town and sea. Nice, clean and cosy room. Really great and varied breakfast. Nice sunny terrace and bar. We forgot to book parking in advance but luckily some lots were available in reasonable price nearby. Kalmar is very nice historical town. Televison (which is not self-evident in Sweden). Very peacefull after 21:30 when the bar was closed. Good beds and billows.
