Lund was basically a college town, and very old college town. Lund University was established in 1666, one of the oldest and most prestigious Universities in Nordic Europe. Lund is a very cozy town, with three Systembolaget (only place we can buy wines).
The headquarters building of the university was gorgeously beautiful. The Faculty of Sociology of Law (independent from the Faculty of Law) accpets ca. 400 students every year. One of the must-visit places is the Lunds Domkyrka (Cathedral), which was build in 1145. Every place is within walking distance from the Central Station.
Lund is about 40 minute-train-ride from the Copenhagen Airport and 10 minute-ride from Malmo. Malmo is also one of the cozy town you must visit and enjoy (a little larger and more modernaized than Lund).

Lund is a pretty medieval city with a lot of history.
Lund is a pretty medieval city with a lot of history. I was inly there for less than a day, so bot a lot of detail, but:
- the domkyrka is worth seeing (special mention of the crypt and the astronomical clock)
- Kulturen is very well presented - it's a sgame i didn't gave time to see the outdoor part
- the botanical garden is very nice
- food-wise: I recommend Saluhallen and Broder Jakobs Bakery in Klostergatan, and I also enjoyed the salad i got from Waynes Coffee
I would not recommend visiting Lund on a Sunday afternoon, though- a lot of interesting places will be closed.
Lund is quite walkable and has good bike paths.

Nice cozy town to walk around, even in wintertime.
Nice cozy town to walk around, even in wintertime. In the spring, however, everything blooms, and it's even more charming. Visit Sankt Hans Backar for an overview of the city and don't miss the botanical gardens. When you get tired you can relax and enjoy Swedish fika in one of the many cafes or pastry shops.

I went to Lund to see my son who is at Lund uni on an exchange programme. The town was absolutely beautiful, and I enjoyed idle walking.
Anyone who is planning to do a lot of sight-seeing activities, may find it boring. Lund is a place where one can just stroll around and have cup of tea and enjoy oneself.
Millas Villa is a nice boutique hotel just outside of the main center, but close enough to walk to the main city. The room was large and very cosy, with everything you needed. Breakfast was certainly sufficient, maybe a bit basic to some guests but good for me. The breakfast room was also a lounge during the day, and ther wre options to sit in the garden. Overall: recommended when you go to Lund!
A very caring and professional staff on every count. Their meals are the very best and on leaving before breakfast as we headed to the Copenhagen Airport, they suggested that they make a breakfast for the three of us. They also arranged for a taxi to take us from the hotel to the airport(a company they use regularly). Thirty-three minutes later and pleasant conversation we were in Copenhagen.
Location is central, in the heart of the old town of Lund, 5 minutes from the Botanical Garden, restaurants, main square and cathedral. A good morning walk to go to Lund University. There is no breakfast service at the hotel, but there is a supermarket accessible from the parking lot. Good kitchen facility in the room-appt. Parking is 20-30 euros for a day.
The location is excellent, very close to the Lund Central and Grand Hotel Lund (5 minutes walking distance) and still in a quiet road. The price is good compared to other options nearby, and it was one of a few that had single rooms. The room setup was also ok, with a table for working and a small bathroom.
Friendly ambience
This hotel is in a great location
There is tea and coffee available in reception all day which is a bonus
The area is so convenient for the shops and the beautiful Lund central area
The supermarket is particularly good with really great staff and excellent service
The room was large, comfortable, clean and quiet. The location was close to the main Lund train station and only a 15 minute walk from the university (where I had meetings). There were also several restaurants within 5 minute walk. The staff were also very friendly and kind.
Very good family room - with a space, big kitchen anex and comfortable bed. We appreciate the fact that there was enough space. Kitchen has all required equipment, even ice in the fridge :) Great place to stay and Lund is one of the most beautiful cities I`ve seen in Sweden!
We had a great first night in Sweden starting our road trip and enjoyed being surrounded by nature. The room was very clean and nice, the breakfast was delicious and it was very beautiful to sit in the wintergarten. We highly recommend staying here (if you have a car).
The room was very clean and very large. There is still building going on but that was mentioned in the information and was not a problem at all. The breakfast was simple but tastefull and more than enough. We will definitely come back when travelling to Sweden.
the location was perfect for our stay in Lund. our oldest son had his masters graduation and the suite was near the university. we were also in the heart of town which made it fun to walk around. A perfect time!
Very good stay, we only stayed one night and it was very good. I wish to return soon and stay at the same hotel, I wanted to say that we were very well received. We will definitely go back there!
We really enjoyed our stay at More Hotel. The room was really nice and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.
We can definitely recommend this hotel for a great stay in Lund!
It's a nice city hotel right in the center of Lund, close to the botanical garden. The room is spacious, with a small kitchenette as well. The bathroom is decent with a nice shower.
Well sized rooms and bathrooms. Comfortable beds and nice breakfast. Plus the espresso machine that you can use any time. The hotel is an easy walk to the city centre.
