Small but nice city you can take great pictures of old castle and park on water side. Uber is available but no cars were available so bus 515 related to skavsta airoport is very good. The 515 bus station is 5 minutes walk from nykoping city center and Road by bus nykoping - skavsta airoport it takes 10 minutes and buses are departing hourly. We’re only there for about 24h and we struggled to find anything to do. Definitely a pit stop area. No exciting restaurants, no exciting shops or museums, just nothingness. Pretty and relaxed town - not much exciting stuff to do, but perfect for a weekend get-away and for outdoor walking activities. Also if you have a car, there are things around to visit such as historical sites, natural reserves etc. Also people are outgoing and friendly. The harbour is nice to see, and the russian hill.

The area along the river is lovely for either a walk or sitting outside at one of the restaurants having a meal. The town is clean and beautiful in June and it's easily walkable. There are lots of playgrounds for kids and open spaces for dogs.KatherineSweden
