Svartsö is a corner of heaven that's fallen on earth. The stf hostel is a good place to explore this little island by bike, hiking, sailing or even swimming. It's functional, located 1 minute from the ferry dock. Bring your own food (or you'll have to eat frozen dinners found on location, book them to guarantee). They have bikes, but the nearest (and only) shop is 20 minutes away.
This accommodation has a peaceful location on the island of Grinda in the Stockholm archipelago, only 30 minutes by ferry from Waxholm.

The cottages allow to visit Grinda and neighbouring islands. I guess they are equivalent to any other cottage on other islands of the archipelago from what we could see ! Which means that there is no water inside the cottage, and one has to cope with the smelly dry toilets !
Siaröfortet Skärgårdskrog och Pensionat is located on Kyrkogårdsön island and features a restaurant, café and garden. A sauna and free WiFi are available as well.

Warm and friendly staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
Incredibly accomodating and flexible. Dog loving.
The food was excellent both from the kitchen and the café.
Best pint of Murphys poured outside of Ireland. I can't pay a higher compliment than that.
