The house is very close to the supermarket and a center of Vimmerby. An excellent location to explore Vimmerby and surroundings. Maria, the host, was quick to respond to our request.

The kids loved the outside area and the gym hall that they could freely use. Very quiet location. Short drive to Bullarbyn and also Vimmerby. The school and the village have an interesting history. Fun fact: Astrid Lindgren's parents got married in the old church near the school.

Includes a tour of the animals for kids and they feed and pet the goats, sheep, rabbits, pigs and hens. Beautiful surroundings.

If you are used to Scandic etc. hotels, this is different, but very nice with antique furniture and old-style wallpaper with flowers and so on - the hotel has got character. The breakfast was good, also gluten-free options. Excellent beds and pillows.

It was quiet, very clean and attractive building with a yard. There were numerous Swedish families that came to stay here with their very well-behaved children. At night it was very quiet so sleep was undisturbed.
