The host was very responsive to our messages and the beds were comfortable. The location was a very easy 5 min drive from the historic center and easy to find if travelling by car. The unit is small, as depicted in the pictures but was good for 1 night as we traveled through Koper.

I really liked the pavements which were very big and not overcrowded, which brought even a bigger and better experience of the city. I have eaten in the local restaurants and nearest pizzerias. The food was mid. Koper is not such a big city so you can see all the sights on foot, however there is still very organized public transport system. On my next visit i would not avoid a specific thing, because i am satisfied with all the things above.

Koper, a picturesque coastal town in Slovenia, offers a delightful blend of history and seaside beauty. Its well-preserved medieval old town, characterized by narrow winding streets and charming squares, transports visitors to another era. With its welcoming atmosphere, stunning waterfront views, and rich cultural heritage, Koper is a hidden gem along the Adriatic coast that promises an enchanting and memorable experience for travelers.

Loevly old part town of city, and long promenade is perfect to walk and watch sunsets. Mornarček fish house was a good place to have sea food, a bit steep price but good portions. On friday there were open air street concerts, you can feel the city vibe. The saddest thing is the city beach. Really small and of course crowded.

The sea was still cold. We went cycling and hiking. Beautiful cycle path: Parenzana. We went from Trieste to Piran. It's a shame that small engines also use it. Heated seawater thermal bath in Portoroz.

Koper is a very nice place where you can find various inns, shops, pastry shops... You can also find beautiful views and walking paths. I recommend a hike from Koper to Izola along a well-maintained walking path. It is also a very pet-friendly place, although you have to pay attention to the signs where pets are not allowed to relieve themselves.
The location is peaceful and very close to Koper. There is free parking on site. The host is kind and helpful. Our stay was very nice and it felt like home. The kitchen is fully supplied with stove, dishwasher, microwave and many useful necessities were available like oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, spices, flour, marmelade, honey, tea, coffe.. There is a good wifi in the house and two televisions with many programs to watch. Hope to come back for holidays again.
Breakfast was good. Comfortable bed,(as an American, it was small, but that's just me....Haha). The bathroom water pressure and hot water very good.
My first trip to Slovenia. Absolutely loved it and my stay visiting a few friends in Koper. The first week, I was over in Mirna area (Debenec) visiting family. I can hardly wait to come back! And I would likely still stay with Hotel Bio when in Koper.
Thank you! Everyone was friendly.
I was in Koper for a conference at the University and this hostel was ideal for a working trip. Clean, good facilities, all in full working order, and very comfortable and quiet - not a rowdy place at all when I was there in March.
There's a kitchen to make breakfast or a cafe attached to the hostel, and Koper is full of bakeries and nice places to eat. The hostel is super central in Koper's very beautiful old town, ideal for exploring!
Recently renovated hotel in the heart of Koper. Perfect stay. Very friendly staff. Rich breakfast. Clean rooms, Perfect location for hiking and biking (bike rental just around the corner) towards Izola Piran and continental Istria. Lunch and dinner menus are stunning. Parking across the street (free over weekend). Plenty coffee bars and restaurant in nearby. Really you won't regret choosing Grand.
Small and charming hotel within walking distance from the centre of Koper. Hostess Smilja is a very warm and hospitable woman who is ready to answer your questions. The interior of the room was very nice, the breakfast varied and very nice. The hostess does everything with an eye for detail and great care. Parking nearby possible for a small extra charge.
1. GREAT SWIMMING FACILITIES WITH POOLS AND WHIRPOOLS AND GREEK ROMAN BATHS WHIRPOOLS WITH SAUNAS
2. EXCELLENT LOCATION IN THE MIDDLE TO KOPER OR IZOLA PLACE
3. DELICIOUS BREAKFAST AND OTHER MEALS
4. SPACIOUS ROOMS WITH BALCONY IN THE VERY BIG AND CREATIVE BUILDED HOTEL
5. GREAT VALUE: BEST PRICE FOR WHAT YOU GET
6. KIND AND HELPFUL STAFF
The hotel is right on the harbour side and is clean and comfortable with large rooms. The breakfast was great and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They gave us a bottle of sparkling wine when we left which was most unexpected. We really didn’t expect this quality of hotel in a small town and would highly recommend it.
Free parking was a big plus although the parking is not properly signed (I believe the parking is called Ogrilica). We used Koper as a base to visit Postojna, Skocjan and Izola and it was the right distance from these places and being on the outside of town, easy to get to from the highway. The staff were friendly.
The apartment is located in a backyard with a nice garden but also a lot of residents around, which made us feel very safe on the other hand! Just around the corner you could find good restaurants and the harbor, including multiple beaches.
In general, the location was perfect and we enjoyed Koper a lot!
Accommodation is good. It's a small space, but everything you need for a couple of nights is there. Clean, comfortable beds, quiet. You need about 25 minutes to reach the center of Koper on foot, but 5 minutes by car. Parking in front of the entrance.
For a recommendation for a day or two.
Second time staying here and it was great again! The host is so welcoming and helpful. She gave plenty of local tips and recommendations. The location is amazing - in the center of things in Koper and close to the water. Everything was comfortable and clean. Hope to be back soon.
Brand new, spotless apartment on the ground floor of a private residence. Very spacious. Everything you could want is already there. Excellent huge bed as well. Situated right between the nice towns of Koper and Izola. Very friendly hosts!
The house is located in Bertoki, a very nice quite place near Koper. The location was lovely and very close by car or taxi to the city Koper. The house was spacious with a large back yard. All the amenities satisfied our needs.
Koper is rather small but still the location of the hostel is amazing 🤩 close to everything! I loved that. The lady that checked me in was really nice (I used Google translate to communicate)
This place made Koper city feel like home. My stay was very brief but it had every amenity that my friends and I needed. Its proximity to everything in the city was perfect.
