Really everything, amenities for children, animations, very good breakfast, staff was extremely nice and engaged, comfortable beds, good wi-fi. We had not the chance to visit wellness, so can't comment on this. We definitely would come back and recommend this property to any family with kids.

This hotel is unique and exceptional. There is no reason not to stay here. Communication with the hotel was excellent, and our welcome was warm and friendly.
The hotel is totally unique, and an old building where every corner has interesting features and furniture. The long walk up the wooden stairs is wonderful.
The room was light, warm, comfortable, and huge. The bed was very comfortable and views over the city. Location is also perfect. There is nothing I would change, I just recommend this place

The hotel is located in the central part of the city with an amazing view of the surrounding hills. The personnel was very kind and accommodating. During the booking I booked the room for one child but we ended up travelling with two and it was not an issue, we got extra bedding in a few minutes. Most places in the city is within a walking distance, the room is spacious and clean. I would and probably will come back!

Banska Stiavnica is the best medieval city, it is ideal to hide from the world and feel at home. It has everything - Holy Trinity Square with a plague pillar, Old and New castles, a miniature wooden city, its own botanical garden, Calvary, the House of Love, a musical clock on the town hall that plays melodies several times a day, several unique bars and many cafes with unusual interiors and amazing cuisine. Children really like the city, and it has excellent conditions for them. In the surrounding area there are unique mines, lakes, Antol Castle, and Mount Sitno, which you can climb.Ada - 10Scored 10

I liked the most the nature, there are many trees within the city and around, you can hear birds everywhere. The houses, the roofs, the streets were nice. Quaint little town nestled in the hills.
Quaint little town nestled in the hills. Plenty of museums to visit, always some events and festivals going on. There are a lot of artificial lakes around and options for walking and hiking. We always go without a car and the place is compact enough to visit by public transport and on foot. I have been returning to Banská Štiavnica for years, this was my 10th visit and I will probably never get enough of its cute narrow streets, beautiful houses, the city landscape offering amazing views and cute places (coffees, restaurants) where you can get refreshed after day in the city or in the nature. And it is super close to the beautiful nature, there are many lovely places one can visit over and over. It is definitely a must see when you visit this part of Slovakia.

Breakfast included bread, cheese, salami, ham, tomatoes, cucumber, eggs, sweet pastries, as well as coffee, tea, and juice. It was available between 8am and 10am. Bathroom offered hand soap, shower gel, as well as small and big towel.

Well, there is some noice from traffic, but you can hardly hold personal responsible for driving habits natives and non natives. The library is very good and atractive cleaners take really good care with cleaning. And generally Banska Stiavnica is/ was really nice place to walk around and enjoy scenery.
