What I remember most fondly is the warmth and friendliness of the host. I arrived late at night having booked right at the last minute and he was there waiting for me. Although he could not speak English, he made a real effort to chat with me by translating on his mobile - he made sure I had everything I needed and also helped me plan the following day's travels. He very kindly took me on a little walk round his land and showed me his plants and animals. Room and bathroom were clean, heating worked really well so I could warm up on a chilly evening. In terms of transport, there is a bus stop just a couple of minutes down the road with several services a day to Bardejov.

We thought there was a kitchenette in the unit and were disappointed that there was not, but with the kind initiative of the site manager we were given the opportunity to prepare mushrooms that we bought on the way .
