While walking along the main street, you can admire...
While walking along the main street, you can admire interesting historic buildings and have a great coffee and dessert. Lučenec offers an interesting combination of urban atmosphere and beautiful countryside in the vicinity far from major centers. Many churches and a restored large synagogue. In the vicinity rich opportunities of swimming, visiting old castles and nature reserves in the volcanic landscape of the Cerova Highlands.

Nothing to do and almost no restaurants or bars. Not a very pleasant stay here, unfortunately. The inhabitants don't speak English. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Even our overnight stay was already too long to be good.JochenBelgium - 8.0Scored 8.0
Unfortunately we were there for a wedding and did not see...
Unfortunately we were there for a wedding and did not see much of the town itself. We were taken to various venues and could not fault it. It looked easy enough to get around and could walk it from the hotel if you enjoy walking.

It's a small village, clean and friendly.
It's a small village, clean and friendly. There is shopping center "Galeria", when you can find everything and on the top floor there is a very very good restaurant: "Vintage bistro", excellent food. Furthermore you can find a lot of pubs (Franz in particular is very good, English and Italian spoken).
