Perfect location near forest, great for walks and hiking. Room was really spacious. Very calm. Staff very helpful and nice. Food was over my expectations, we liked every meal very much, worth to have dinners here. Breakfast had pretty much variations for the size of the hotel. Kids court is a big plus. Parking no problem.

Everything in Martin is so clean.
Everything in Martin is so clean. The loos are amazing compared to those in the UK. In the shopping centre there is a soft play area, for small chidren, and the adults can really relax with a coffee whilst being able to keep a close eye on them.
There is so much space. We visited a village where old houses have been moved to or reconstructed. It was really interesting and there was lots of space for the children to run around, as well as a cafe.
People were friendly and helpful, including in all the cafes and restaurants we visited. The local food is all fantastic, as is the goulash in a Czech restaurant we visited in the town centre.
All the young people appear to speak English.

Town centre very pedestrian friendly.
Town centre very pedestrian friendly. Food and coffee very good where we tried them. Sadly could not visit Museum of Martin Benka as it was closed and I understand expecting to be completely refurbished. But a trip to Strecno castle was worth every penny. I would recommend the visit to everyone.

The Slovak Village Museum was great.
The Slovak Village Museum was great. Martin was lacking in atmosphere. That said, it does appear like they are really putting in a lot of effort to spruce up the town center. It was also raining throughout our stay, so that might have impacted our perceptions.
Great hotel staff,
Really great breakfast with a large variety. Also, you can choose one hot dish from a short menu.
Good restaurant with reasonable prices.
We had a small apartment which was really nice, the hotel is quite new.
Localization is just next to the tourist trails.
Really amazing wellness center (different saunas, hot tube, cooling pool) for a good price.
Small kids-play area in the restaurant and larger one outside. The hotel staff was very welcoming towards kids.
We’ve been to this accommodation many times now and already plan to use it again, when we come to visit Martin next. Other accommodations in the area were rather disappointing as we travel with a dog and although they claimed to be dog friendly they scarcely were. Here, on the other hand, we have never encountered a single issue.
Also we really appreciate that there is no reception and no one judging your coming and going.
There are playgrounds on every corner in Martin and there are about 7 playgrounds in 5 minutes walk to the accommodation. The Open-air Museum is very-very close too, and Martin is a kind little town. It's a good place for dog-walking and there are not a lot of cars, so it's safe with children as well.
The gentleman from the staff was very kind and helpful, we were relaxed when he was there.
Despite the fact that we arrived late and booked at last minute, they welcomed us kindly and were very helpful. The whole building and room was very clean and beautiful. The shower/bathroom is amazing, it is on a same level (or even better) as expensive hotels. The restaurant is exceptionally well designed. The breakfast was really good.
- Central location, short walk from the central square (though a bit longer walk from the train/bus station), yet still quiet.
- Good standard of the room, clean.
- Very helpful staff.
- I appreciated that alongside a large pillow there was also a smaller thin one - kind I prefer to sleep on and struggle to find in many places.
Place is beautiful. From the outside it looks a bit small but inside there is enough space. Garden is nice, area is quiet, no problems with parking. Everything is very well equipped, especially kitchen. There is small playground close and because Martin is a big city, there is everything you need just few minutes by car.
Apartment was very clean.. All basic necessities were available.. The owner is super helpful and very friendly.. 10/10 would recommend and will stay there again next time I'm in Martin. Fantastic place.
we were put in a different place, but the flat we had was quite good overall, parking and it was close to town centre which was the only real bonus. Breakfast and service during breakfast was good.
Such a great property in town of my paternal grandparents. We were able to eat delicious meals at 'sister' restaurant down the street. Style and decor of place. Precious owner.
Easy to find hotel. Quiet environment, good rooms, good bed, fridge, kettle in the room, good restaurant, quality food, beer. Large parking lot for cars. Rich breakfast
Hotel is easy to find and has barrier car park at rear. Quite neighbourhood. Excellent restaurant. Rooms clean warm & comfortable.. Staff friendly and helpful.
I loved that the spa was on site and that I was able to schedule multiple massages during my stay. The staff was also very friendly throughout the hotel.
