This brand new boutique Hotel is the most magical place in Koh Phangan. Only 100m walk to the beach of Ban Tai. Alex the owner created this amazing place with love and style and as soon as you enter you feel the special energies this place transmits. It is a must stay for anyone appreciating arts and inspiring energies. The whole complex is constructed for people with restricted mobility. One of a kind surly. We loved and it will surly come back soon. Thank you!

Very friendly & welcoming staff, they helped us carry our luggage to our apartment and were very friendly from the start. Offered transportation to the full moon party and to our next ferry (extra cost but worth it as there were not many options of transportation in the area) Air con worked really well, the apartment was stunning and very clean. Perfect beach location, pool and easy access to the beach. Sunset was amazing at night. Food was incredible, restaurant standard and everything was freshly made, including cocktails and drinks. A hidden gem!

It had a room available. If Rung was on reception then I could communicate with staff. Rung was friendly & eager to be of service. There was instant cofffee & free packets of snacks provided in the room. It’s almost next to Tom’s kitchen which is a very good eatery.

I really enjoyed Wat Khao Tham and Apichada view point where I can visit by walk.
There are lots of tasty local food with reasonable price. Especially I liked MAMA local restaurant.
Also, I liked carrot cake from Croissant & Ko. They have lots of cakes and pastry it was difficult to chose!!!
You can see the sunset from the beach.

This side of the island is considered the most alive as it is close to the pier and there are a lot of bars, street markets and super markets. I would recommend it as a convenient option for accomodation.

I had to go to renew my visa so needed to be close to the pier. Baan TAi is good if you want to be close to Thongsala & cheap food & things happening & Secret Garden is a lovely quiet place. However Baan Tai is very noisy and busy if you want real tranquillity go elsewhere.

Baan Tai is convenient for those who want to party and get to Haad Rin, Jungle parties and the floating pier parties easily. However, if you are looking for a bit more quiet, but still within easy reach of some dancing, I would recommend the west side of the island. Srithanu and Zen beach, especially if you are travelling on your own. Much friendlier. :)

Quite a small area but with great beaches and loads of choice for restaurants and bars. A good location for the moon parties and pre parties, and lots of places nearby to buy tickets. Many places to see further around the island but you would need to hire a moped or book a tour.

Ban Tai is the place to be in Koh Phangan.
Ban Tai is the place to be in Koh Phangan. Haad Rin might be too crazy for some given the Full Moon Party Atmosphere. Anything North of Thong Sala might be too secluded to some. Ban Tai is the perfect center
My partner and I travelled Thailand for 3 weeks and this was the only hostel we stayed at during that time. Staying at Sarana was our favorite (even compared to some expensive hotels) BY FAR. Incredible location right on the beach, friendly staff, couldn’t fault it at all especially given the price. We plan to come back to Thailand again just to come back here for a week we had such a good time. Highly recommend hiring a scooter and spend a few days exploring up and down the coast. We will 100% be coming back to this specific place.
The best hotel experience on Thai islands. The place is ran by a cool French couple who do their best to live up to a European standards. This means:
- very fast, reliable WIFI (I did plenty of business calls)
- exceptionally clean (you will NEVER find insects in your room)
- great service
- the ambience of the place is phenomenal. It feels like a 5* resort (just smaller and more relaxed)
- the location is also optimal, right by the beach, and just 2 min ride from the main road
Amazing!! This place is heaven, the beach is right on your doorstep there is a nail salon and massage services right there too, food and drink at the restaurant. The staff were amazing, helped us rent a scooter and booked our transfer over to koh samui. The hotel next door had a nice pool but I preferred the service at all at sea! Paddle boarding was for free which was great. The dogs were super cute. The rooms were so lovely.
We had beach access bungalows and believe me when I tell you that this was the most incredible hotel I think I’ve ever stayed at. The food at the restaurant was incredible. The english breakfast was bang on - and they even had HP sauce. The view when you wake up and open your curtains is breathtaking. Would 10/10 recommend! Pay the extra and get beach access bungalows!!!
The bungalows are very close to the beach, in fact the associated beach bar is directly at the waterfront! The owner was very nice and had great stories to tell, he‘s been doing this for decades now - he also does the best Long Island Ice Tea‘s I‘ve ever had! Will stay here again 100% when I am back on Koh Phangan.
A very beautiful hotel, great and convenient location (close to Thong Sala, the Pier, Makro, 7/11, the main road, the beach etc). The staff is very welcoming and highly professional, they responded quickly to any of our request. Daily bottles of water, daily cleaning upon request. Everything was great.
The hostel was super clean, room was big and ventilated. The staff were so nice, always willing to help us. The pool was also very clean. The day of full moon they made us a cute little dinner. Also, breakfast included. Close to the beach and about 20min drive from where the Full Moon party was.
We booked the beach front villa and it was unbelievable, the nicest room I have ever had in any hotel I have stayed in!
I even forgot an item of clothing and the hosts have shipped this to me free of charge, they were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond for us during our stay 😁
For the price you pay its a nice place. We were there in the middle of high season and the price was very reasonable. Location is amazing, on a beautiful, quiet beach.
The owner was really nice and drove us to our next hotel.
Great staff. Good food at the restaurant. Quiet property perfectly situated on the Beach close to pretty much everything on the island. Rooms are simple and equipped with all the basics.
The cleanliness room we have stayed on Koh Phangan .
The swimming pool was stunning and staffs were helpful. The place itself was so relax and quiet after full moon. The dogs so cute
Pretty little hotel. Was a bit empty now but staying at the beachfront was real special. Staff was quite friendly, offered to act as a taxi and was helpful in finding a tour.
Beautiful hotel located just on the beach front. Pool was lovely and lots of seating places.
The people were very welcoming and helpful with an excellent laundry service.
Had the 3 bed rooms. Spacious and clean. Nice people who work there. Good swimming pool. Hotel is almost literally on the beach. Its a 10 seconds walk.
