Very good resort (more basic than a hotel). On a river where you can swim, but BE CAREFUL as the water flow gets much stronger when they open the sluices from the nearby electric dam!! Beautiful location.

That place is amazing it provides the BEST view of the national park. Accommodation is great as well, the marble feels was a nice touch. Aircon is amazing.

The property was secluded and had areas of greenery on site nearby nature which was quite pleasant. Despite initially trying to try their luck and scam us out of 500baht for a 100baht journey, the male member of staff at the property did kindly assist us in navigating our way from the property to Surat Thani.

Accessible down an unsealed track, the property is located just off Highway 401 in Ban Bang Nao (Khao Sok Lake area). We booked accommodation while on the road and travelled that afternoon. The onsite caretaker was surprised when we arrived. As she only spoke Thai it took a while to access a room. After inspecting the timber bungalows that aligned with our booking we chose the newer motel-style rooms. These are quite large but only come with twin beads. Unfortunately, the toilet seat had what looked like dried urine, there was toothpaste-style residue in the hand basin and a piece of plastic (trash) on the floor behind the bathroom door. We were the only guests in the whole complex and decided it was sufficient for an overnight stop. In the morning we left just as the equipment of the cement works immediately neighbouring the property started to whir, clunk and bang.

I could stay here all week, maybe a month, or all year even. Free coffee, cold water and breakfast usually consisting of fresh fruit from their land. It's not too over crowded with huts or people. The cabins it's self has been built to a high standard and are very comfy, with a nice big terrace. It's a peaceful spot with very genuine hosts - I felt like family staying on their land. Toh Toa organised transport to there, from there and to a day tour - we just had to be on time! The day tour is a good way to break up your stay and get to the shops. They couldn't have done more for us to make it an enjoyable stay. PS - they sell beer here!
