We spent in Baan Kiao 5 days in romantic bangalow with amazing view. Place is super nice, located nearby very beautiful beach, bangalow was big with good working AC (which was extremely helpful during those hot days in Ko Pha-ngan) and well equipted. Yes, there are a few stairs to reach your room, but it will be a good activity after lazy day on the beach. I loved how green is around bangalows and swimming pool. Personel is super nice and helpful (despite our "cancelation" problem;)). There is nothing to complain about. Just take a motorbike and enjoy your staying in amazing ko phangan. baan kiao definitely will help you make your staying a good memories

It's such a gem among the accommodations. So quite, perfect sunset view and the private beach has the cleanest water in comparison with the other beaches (just dont have much sand, more pebbles and dead corals -- once you get over the shallow part, there thousands of colourful fishes and I even saw a turtle, twice). Staff is so kind. Really fell in love with this place, and I'll be back for a longer time 😍😍😍 Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Very quiet area, only 3 or 4 places to eat or get a drink, the beach is beautiful but too shallow to swim in, nice to sit in though. Most of the hotels / restaurants sell the same food but not grate food apart from the Italian restaurant called loco I think, the food was outstanding and not overly expensive and the staff where brilliant.

The area is picturesque and at least when we were there uncrowded, quiet and peaceful. There are plenty of choices for places to eat and stay. Several restaurants are perched on the hillsides and have spectacular views of the beach and gulf. There is a 7-11, a dive operation, and a motorbike repair shop. A number of businesses were closed due Covid-depressed tourism.

The Haven resort has the most stunning terrace and watching the sunset at night was magical. the food and staff were amazing and our host Vincent could not do enough for us. the resort is very hilly, so a scooter if confident enough is ideal, otherwise a taxi at 200 baht and they are plentiful. the choice of beaches are countless, loads of restaurants. avoid the swanky ones as they are over priced and not that good in our opinion. the small rustic ones are half there price and food is the best by far. Beautiful white sandy beach.
Beautiful white sandy beach. The beach the very clean and not too busy. Lots of bars and restaurants to try out. There’s also lots to do on the beach if you don’t want to just sunbathe, there’s yoga, paddleboard, kayaking, etc. Also the sunsets are amazing from this beach!

Haad Yao has a good beach but as most of the beaches in KOh Phangan, in August you cannot swim because of the low tide. It’s a good base to take a scooter and travel around, but it’s one of the many. In general fr my point of view Koh Phangan it’s too touristic and far away from the authentic Thailand you can find elsewhere
