Really enjoyed the night markets and stalls along the river. All sorts of food cooked in front of you. Excellent Hallal restaurant around corner from our hotel , clean and well presented food. Trip on long boat to caves and mangroves worth seeing. Watch who you book with on river. Only disappointment was the trip we booked from Krabi to Koh Lak.Do not use Yat Hai Tour vans.! Very dangerous driving, tailgating other cars. Then passed in area of very tight corners. Nearly a head on crash. Friendly place many places to eat. Great night market over weekend and daily food market where you could eat very cheaply. We visited the mangrove trail and climbed the tower for a nice view and then crossed the river with a long tail boot to see a nice cave and to see a bit more of the riverside and the driver got us back into the town. Our hotel had this name and was ideally located in the center. Very clean and neat and most helpful staff! We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. All 5 of us slept well (which is rare.) Really quiet rooms for being in a busy street. The bed, mattress, pillows were all very comfortable. There were plenty of smartly spaced wall outlets, good WiFi coverage. Very clean facility and rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. They got us a deal on the ferry boat and arranged for transportation. Easy walk to the night market. Not much more we could ask for.MarkThailand

Also close to the river for tours and trips. This was a very large spacious room which was very clean and quite modern, it had all basic essentials like good air con, a large comfy bed, water, fridge, good hot shower. There is a small restaurant offering cheap food in the hotel as well. There is a convenient local bus to Ao Nang on the next road for 50 baht. Very good value for money.

The area is absolutely perfect, quiet and relaxing with the night Market right down the street. The family running this place were the kindest people on my stay in Thailand, if I ever return to Krabi I will only stay here!

There is a tuktuk service for 150baht one way. There was also small restaurant inside of the hotel which is convenient. The swimming pool and the garden landscaping were a huge plus.
