On the plus side, the beach wasn't crowded and didn't have anyone hassling you to buy food etc. There were lots of good restaurants on the beach, and the village had a few shops and a 24-hour convenience store. Unfortunately, the beach wasn't particularly clean, and it seamed that nobody actually cleaned it anyway. Also, there were a few too many stray dogs in the mornings. Nevertheless, I love the place as it's very natural and relaxing, and you can easily walk from the airport with hand luggage if you're only staying a few days.David - 2.0Scored 2.0

The beach was great.

Nai Yang is very poplar as it is close to the airport.
Nai Yang is very poplar as it is close to the airport. It has a very local laid back vibe which people enjoy. Beach, food, massage, markets, good range of hotels options. One of the best beaches in Phuket.

Nai Yang beach is a gorgeous stretch of soft sand and blue sea, relatively quiet in contrast to the rest of Phuket and so close to the airport without the planes being a bother. There are some beachside restaurants with delicious food and great service and a few shops and stalls in the streets behind. So calm and relaxed in contrast with other beaches in Phuket.

Highly recommended. They even put up extra beds so we could stay in 1 room with 2 adults and 2 children. The breakfast was very delicious, on top of all the food they even had cuppa'soups and hot chocolatemilks. You must also try the street food around the beach, its all amazing.
