Lots of amazing Indian restaurants and cheap massage parlors with the nicest ladies who even gave us restaurant recommendations. Stayed for 1 night as a stop over, before heading to Koh Samet the following day. We then stopped 1 more night on are way back from Koh Samet, which was just at the start of Songkrans. Had an amazing time and cant wait to get back. Although we stayed at the far end of Pattaya, there was still plenty to do and it was more than easy enough walking around or getting local transportation, all at a very reasonable price. Pattaya is not for family holidays. it is one of the sex capitals of the world young girls old and lonely men. if thats your scene this is the place like angeles in phillippines. If looking for a more family or couples type hoiday dont come to the city try Jomtien which is more sedate and a better beach or to the west huan hin or further south krabi. Depends if you are a singel traveller or not and the purpose of the holiday whatever floats your boat ?
