We loved everything about this place. Staff were so accommodating with everything. We had no power or water for one day when there but they were really good about it all. We only stayed one night as we needed to catch the ferry to Langkawi in the morning, at 11.30. It is a short taxi ride to Tammalang Pier and conveniently located for On's bar on the opposite side of the road. The room was certainly big enough, only the bathroom was rather tired and dated, but hey - the shower worked. The real bonus was the area we discovered behind the hotel: a beautiful path along the river or the canal, with lush vegetation (well, it's Thailand), very peaceful and really delightful.
