Baan Tubkaek Hotel, hotel in Tab Kaek Beach

Featuring a private beach area, Baan Tubkaek Hotel offers accommodation at Tab Kaek Beach. This 2-star hotel offers a terrace. All rooms in the hotel are fitted with a flat-screen TV.

Well located place on a premium beach for not-so premium price. We've stayed there for few days, and while the beach is not really suitable for care-free swimming due to the rocks, it was a highlight of our day to walk on the sand during the sunset, seeing all the isles on the horizon. It's a memorable experience. The restaurant was ok, we got rooms in the main building, which provided a bit more privacy from other guests.

The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort - SHA Extra Plus, hotel in Tab Kaek Beach

Nestled within abundant greenery, The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort - SHA Extra Plus offers beachfront accommodation on Tubkaak Beach.

This hotel looks like it was taken from a movie scene. If you're looking for partying, night clubs and buzz with friends, don't come here, as there is nothing to do after 10pm. But if you're looking for some peace, quiet, meditation, relaxation, 10/10 this is the place to come to. Framed by tropical forest, on one side, and by a paradisiac beach on the other, you feel immersed in some sort of Blue Lagoon movie. The hotel is small sized, not many rooms which allows the perfect conditions for a restful and peaceful stay. The breakfast is served in a gorgeous restaurant on the beach where you can contemplate the sea with the scenic longtail boat. When I thought this would only be result of photoshoped pictures, this hotel just proved me wrong. Cleanliness is of the highest standards. The room is gorgeous, super comfy and the bed is amazing. There is free Nespresso coffee in the room (important, as it's not so common in Asia). If you like asian (and in particular thai) food, you must try the hotel restaurants. Food is superb, delicious and (despite no being cheap according to Thailand standards) it is still cheap as per european standards. There is also italian restaurant with very good pasta, risotto and pizzas (surprisingly). Finally, and most important of all, the service is truly 5 stars. All the staff is so delicate, so kind, so humble. They will always stop what they are doing to say hello as you pass by and they will do anything to solve any query you have. On our particular case, we had a big issue upon arrival in the airport, where we were left with no taxi and no option to come to the hotel, at night (as Krabi goes to sleep at 10pm) and Tubkaak managed to get us a taxi in 20min. To the hotel: never cease to provide highest standards of service. Summary: I've been to many 5 stars hotels but this is definitely the best hotel and best holidays I've ever had in my life. Strongly recommend.

There are not many options to eat, except hotels' restourants. Food prices are high everywhere. To eat for 2 adults and 1 kid cost you from 1500 THB to 3000 THB. Service fee is including the price despite you didn't like service at all Sea water is not clear so don't bring snorekling masks from home, it's useless TabKaek is far away from shops and taxi service is very expensive, since no public transport available I won't choose TabKaek again

Loved this resort and would easily stay again.

Loved this resort and would easily stay again. It is away from the main touristy areas which was perfect for us but still an easy 30 mins maximum to get to Ao Nang. It is a smaller boutique resort which again is our preference. It may not be as fun for families with younger children as it is a place to chill and relax. Still I went with my teenage daughter and there were enough activities (yoga, Thai boxing, kyaking, paddle boarding, the pool and beach) to keep us both entertained. The staff a lovely, the food is good, the rooms are well appointed. There are extra touches that make you feel special.

We visited this beach in December and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The beach was not crowded, and our resort was right on the beach. If you got in early, the resort also had comfortable beach lounges. Beach regulations do not allow umbrellas, but we rarely felt the need for beach umbrellas!

Tub Kaek Beach is very nice but its mainly large 5 Star hotels along the beach. There isn't really anywhere you can walk to from this location. We took a taxi to Ao Nang beach (around $15 each way) a few times where there are a lot of bars , seafood restaurants and shops. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing location with a beautiful beach then Tub Kaek is perfect .

The beach is beautiful with stunning views.

The beach is beautiful with stunning views. Just note that it is rather quiet and there is not much entertainment around, so it you’re looking for a lively area for going out - then maybe this beach is not the right match. It is perfect for relaxation and enjoying the sea and the nature.
