Demre has a lot to offer for such a small, not-as-touristy town compared to all the other more touristy towns nearby. Myra ancient city and St. Nicholaus Church are must-see, we also really liked the Sülüklü beach, we had the whole beach to ourselves when we went there!

There is 2 markets a short walk and you can catch a bus on the main street to beautiful beaches or other towns. Centre of Demre is about 45 min walk.
