You must try the food and visit the hammam next to the Selimiye Mosque. You must also visit the Mosque itself, the Complex of Sultan Bayezid II Health Museum and have a walk around the town. Don't be fooled by the "low prices". They are not low anymore. If you want to buy a good value for money products go to the large supermarkets. Don't buy cheap items from the local street market. Most of them are not good at all.

Edirne or any other city in Turkey, what could we not like. The locals, the food, the historical past and the future are also well represented in Edirne. The experience in Edirne is worth the effort to travel. I particularly liked the agro-food market where the farmers bring their products, a unique experience of aromas, sound and color.

There are lots of historical places there.
There are lots of historical places there. I like the gastronomy that I found there with cheaper prices. You can find restricted areas for walking because of construction but don't mind it. Keep walking and discover the city. Be feel yourself lucky if you travel on Fridays or Saturdays and enjoy the Rakı.
