Very good 4 star hotel in the direct vicinity of shopping area. Also near main road to enter or leave Eskisehir. I had a very good bed and even the early morning appeal from the imam for prayer was hardly hearable

Odunpazarı district is full of ottoman era houses and have unique and calm atmosphere. Restaurants serve some delicious Crimean Tatar dishes (for example mantı - typical example for all cuisines of Turkic nations). I only wished I stayed more to have more time to climb the hill south of Odunpazarı - panoramic views must be magnificent.

Big town with lots of activities yet with not have many historical places like Istanbul, visit it for a real local Turkish experience. It has malls and local shops and bazaars. Also, the local food places are lovely. Natural parks are all around the town. Last but not least the unique vienece-like experience of taking the boat tour in the city's water canals.

Eskisehir has a very important place in Turkish War of Independence. Many decisions were taken here and battles were fought. For us Turks, it has a very special place. However, thanks to the Mayor Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Buyukersen, the town has transformed into something truly amazing. You can't help but notice the respect shown to trees and parks which is overwhelmingly beautiful. Maybe even unique in the country. Being home to 3 established universities, students make up a large proportion of the town's populace. It is especially good to see so many young people around. The locals are calm & friendly and they do not litter, which is amazing on its own. There are many interesting museums to visit, and old renovated houses which house artists ateliers etc. Go there, you will like it

I thoroughly enjoyed exploring various parts of Eskisehir, but if I were to pick favorites, Porsuk River's riverside promenade offered a serene escape, and the vibrant local markets added a touch of authenticity to my experience.
During my stay, I had the pleasure of dining at a few local eateries that left a positive impression. One memorable meal was at a traditional Turkish restaurant near the city center, where I savored delicious kebabs and mezze.
Yes, getting around Eskisehir was relatively convenient. The city's well-connected tram system made navigating the urban area hassle-free, and walking was a pleasant option for exploring nearby attractions. Taxis were also readily available for longer distances.

Eskisehir is not the primary destination for tourists in...
Eskisehir is not the primary destination for tourists in Turkey and when it comes to historical and architectural heritage, the city has very little to offer, despite being really old like even its name tells us. But it is the most European city I have seen in Turkey. It also has a young and liberal population due to being home to three large public universities. Abundance of parks, many good museums, mentioning here the modern art museum and the wax museum, beautiful river promenades with plentiful and reasonably priced cafeterias, a small but colourful old quarter, small statues and figures adorning squares and parks - all this makes it worth at least a brief visit.
I've stayed only one night, as a stop-over on a longer trip. The breakfast consist of: 4 loads of fresh bread, 1 portion of butter, 1 portion of honey, two slices of tomato, 2 slices of cucumber, 1 slice of white cheese, 1 slice of yellow cheese, 1 slice of ham, 1 boiled egg, Turkish tea. The staff was friendly, at least on "western Europe" standards(Turkey is well known for hospitality). The location is great, free parking on premise.
Very nice apartment with extremely welcoming and kind hosts. Even though the apartment is situated at the heart of the city centre of Eskişehir (next to all the sightseeing, shops, cafes and restaurant, it is quite during the weekdays and during the weekdend). 7 minutes walk to the old town Odunpazari tarihi evleri, 3 minutes walk to the Hamamyolu, the central pedestrian street of the city.
We loved so much staying at this hotel! Very convenient location, close to all cafes and restaurants, but at the same time it's placed on the quite silent street. Staff is so helpful and friendly! Room is comfortable and has everything you may need - fridge, kettle, flat TV, hair dryer. Very good mattresses, we sleep well during our staying.
Hotel close to the city centre. It has a good and safe parking place which was very important for us. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean and extremly comfortable: we had a family room with 1 double bed and 3 single beds. Breakfast was very good. Overall a nice hotel that I totally recommend.
This is a hotel our family will talk about for a VERY long time!! What a gem in the middle of Turkey. 5 STAR EVERYTHING! Perfect rooms, wonderful design, fabulous staff, incredible breakfast and dinner. Really lovely pool and outdoor space. We will return to Turkey JUST to stay here again!
Nice window in the ceiling and red neon light above our heads, quite romantic.. Nice personnel. Delicious breakfast. Nice restaurant. Good service. Silent , cultural , kameral. Really nice place. Ramada Plaza Eşkisehir, honestly recomended.
Nice place, perfect location. There's no booking in Turkey and we can't book a hotel for the next. Staf helped us for that.Thank you very much!!! The car park is near the hotel and we paid about 4 EUR for 24 hours.
The room was beautifully decorated and spacious, offering a delightful ambiance. The hotel's central location allowed for easy access to the mall and park, both within walking distance.
The location is just amazing everything interesting almost 10 to -15 min walking distance, there’s free small parking for the hotel, and the staff try their best .
I booked room only, but GREAT breakfast is available for purchase with discount to hotel guests at the public cafe by the lobby, and very reasonably priced.
