We loved the rock formations, cave dwellings, and churches; they're truly fascinating. The area is touristy, so you'll find good amenities, but it also means you'll encounter influencers focused on taking fake photos, which can be entertaining yet irritating. However, if you have a car (which I recommend), you can escape the touristy spots and explore more interesting and secluded sites.

Goreme is a perfect place to stay. Very walkable and only a 20-minute walk away from one of the famous the UNESCO parks. If you head off the main strip (which is quite touristy and busy) you will find plenty of fabulous restaurants, Potato Cafe, Inci Restaurant and the Adylini Cave Hotel, The hotel caves are fabulous, and the highlight was the hot air balloons. We chose Voyager Balloons, and they did not disappoint. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and it was perfect, IF you are a hiker you will love it too.JaneUnited Arab Emirates - 10Scored 10

Göreme is the must visit village in Cappadocia. You will always want to go back. Favourite place to eat: Göreme Han Restaurant. A true Turkish restaurant with traditional dishes. No Burger King or Chinese, when I travel I like to eat like the locals and I got this here. Ate all my meals here. Göreme is easy to walk all over and beautiful. There is nothing I would try to avoid on my next visit.

Goreme is the perfect location for the Cappadocia trip. Central location surrounded by the breathtaking landscape. Plenty of hotels , cafes, restaurants ,shops . Cuisine from across the world nearby. Easy access to all the attractions and tours . Excellent transport facilities. Very safe . Cappadocia tours Sunset ATV tour experience is something that we will definitely cherish for the rest of our life. Amazing way to see the various valleys as well as as experience feel of riding with a big group of fellow tourists from all over the world !. We did the hot air balloon ride as well as a day trip covering underground city of kaymakli, Goreme open air museum , castle etc .

Very nice city to visit. Recommend having a car if you are fine with driving. Driving had no issues as long as you stay to speed limits and rules. Many places to visit from Goreme and so much to see. Not congested and looks very laid back and remote but has everything you need.

Goreme is a wonderful little town! My boyfriend and me stayed for 2 days and it was just enough for us. But we also had a lot of luck with the weather- we were able to do ballons and all. But there was plenty more stuff to do which you would definitely need more time for. The vibe is so different. We came beginning of March when there was very less tourists so it was very calm in the town. If you wanna roam around the other cities in Cappadocia you need a car or go with a Taxi or a guide, there is no efficient public transport ( at least we didn’t search enough to find it ). The same with the airport, you need to arrange the transport to Goreme yourself.VukovićCroatia

Haroun helped us book all our airport transfers and tours. The main road is walking distance from all the restaurants and travel agency's for tour bookings. Our room was spacious, clean and it had a balcony. The Turkish buffet breakfast is fresh and so appetizing.
