A beautiful place to visit on a sunny, breezy day.
A beautiful place to visit on a sunny, breezy day. Take a boat ride on Bosphorus or take a tram to go around town. By the way, trams are excellent in taking you around the city - and very, very cheap. The town is steeped in history. You will see the signs of its grand past all over. People are very friendly and smiling. It was our third trip and we will go back soon.

A perfect destination for Food lovers, combines history, art, modern architecture and shopping. It offers both luxury and simple lifestyle option with great nature and many options for transportation. The only disadvantage is that its very crowded so choosing the right time to come is essential.

- Topkapi Palace : to be done but expensive for what it is.
- Topkapi Palace : to be done but expensive for what it is. The Harem is the best place
- Blue Mosquee : beautiful and free
- Grand Bazar / Spice Bazar : just to feel the atmosphere, not to buy something
- Hammam : the must of the trip, with scrub, foam & oil massage
- Princess Islands (the last one) : beautiful, like if you are in a seaside resort + an icecream of course !
- Bosphorus cruise but only if you didn't take the boat for Princess Islands
- Fatih, Balat & Fener with colored houses
- Citerne Basilique : too expensive for what is it, in 15 minutes, you make the tour
- Basilique Sainte Sophie : not done
+++ : The restaurants and also a fish sandwich on Eminonu !

Istanbul is a must for the wanderlust!
Istanbul is a must for the wanderlust! Amazing things to do and see! I wasn't impressed with how everyone gives you prices in euros as if to condition us into thinking we are getting a good deal or something. This results in paying 'the Euro price' making Istanbul a complete rip off! Please charge your visitors in Lira and for the 'lira price', which should be the same as what the locals pay. Why is there a different price for locals and tourist? Not nice Turkey!

Istanbul was a very nice place with some history if your into that kind of stuff. I enjoyed driving there but parking is horrible everywhere. I asked for parking at the hotel and they offered it on the street. I had to park 2 blocks away usually. Many options for eating and sightseeing

It is a paradise for people who like to walk and explore...
It is a paradise for people who like to walk and explore tourist attractions at length. It has so many of them, that probably suit every taste.
A lot of dining choices are available ranging from the very reasonable to the quite expensive. Please note that prices of food at tourist attractions are rather higher than ordinary places.
Most taxis do not use their meters but bargain with you for a fixed price; Ubers may also bargain with you after accepting your ride, so be careful. Probably one should use public transport like metro and buses next time around.
Everything was perfect about this hotel!
It's located right near Taksim square which was perfect place for us because we wanted to enjoy some shopping in Istanbul. And even though the main street for shopping was only 2 mins away from the hotel our room was very quite at the day and night time.
The stuff at Mukarnas hotel was super friendly, polite and helpful all the time.
Breakfast was very delicious and had good and different variety every day.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!
Ramada Plaza is a good option for istanbul travelers,
we had a good stay its away from chaos yet near from taksim square for around 20 mints walk and from nasintasi as well, the good part is Mcdonalds in the hotel. some little things were missing in the room like shoe cleaner, loofah , toothbrush & the AC needs to be renewed. but all in all our stay was great , good and friendly staff. special thanks to Eyupcan for his great welcoming. I Recommend this Hotel 👍🏼
The hotel and staff were great; very good location and walking distance to Taksim Square, taksim metro, istiklal Street and all the restaurants, banks and anything one may need.
The hotel itself is a very cute and modern place, newly renovated with clean fittings and interiors. Burak at the reception was always there to help with taxi bookings, other info about the city and always prompt on WhatsApp. Must stay in Istanbul. We are coming here again soon!
The location of the hotel was fantastic, the views from the terrace is probably one of the best views of Istanbul specially at night. The staff was very helpful and the room was a good size for us. The big windows on one side of the room are amazing and makes the view from the room very good. The facilities were good too and the staff was very helpful. The location is very near to the metro station and galata tower and very easy access to taksim square.
Excellent stay . Very comfortable family room provided with 2 connected rooms. Gorgeous view of blue mosque from the room😍 The location is central , in the heart of things and within walking distance from
Blue mosque , Topkapi palace and grand bazaar. Easy tram access to other places like Taksim square.
The free minibar was nice touch👍 the staff ever helpful and hospitable ! Will be booking this hotel again for sure if I visit Istanbul again!
A great little hotel in Sultanahmet within 5 minutes walk Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.
The hospitality of the staff is excellent, very friendly and attentive. They are happy to book your airport transfers and help with suggestions and bookings. Breakfast is excellent - a good selection of continental/Turkish style buffet, with a selection of cooked options. Would definitely stay again if we return to Istanbul.
We arrived at 7:30AM, and they checked us in and gave us our room immediately instead of making us wait until 2PM, without any additional charge. After a long flight, it was very much appreciated. There are many restaurants and convenient shops nearby. From the Istanbul airport, we took the bus iST 16 directly to Taksim Square, and walked only 150m to the hotel. Staff was very helpful helping us getting the taxi.
Very polite staff and very helpful starting from front desk to housekeeping. Ahmed, Anwar and Sanaa very friendly staff. Very tiny room but clean. If you wanna sleep in Istanbul then do reserve this hotel. You find any area quieter than this. Loved the hotel and staff. Near taksim square. Everything are nearby you don't need to worry about anything. Definitely I suggest the hotel and 100% comeback to it.
The hotel is barely a 5mins walk to Taksim Square. The overall look and feel of the hotel was very good. The lobby was very clean and had a a very luxury vibe to it. Would like to make a special mention about Mr. Turgut who went out of the way to resolve some issues with our booking. He was extremely helpful and courteous. We need more people like him in the hospitality industry.
The Metropolitan Hotel boasts a serene location that’s just a stone’s throw away from the lively Taksim Square, offering the best of both worlds. The proximity to the square allows for easy exploration of Istanbul’s vibrant heart. The staff at the hotel deserve special mention for their exceptional service, contributing significantly to the overall pleasantness of my stay.
Taner and the whole staff were really very professional and nice. Taner was always there to help us and answer our questions not only regarding things in the hotel but also in Istanbul.
The hotel location is amazing and just around the corner from Taksim square. The rooms are nice and generally clean.
I will not hesitate to book this hotel in my next visit to Istanbul
A real 5 star experience. All the staff went above and beyond to make the stay feel extra special and cater to your needs. It's really lovely to see how much they enjoy running a hotel and meeting the guests. Top quality breakfast with little changes every day. The views from the terrace room are phenomenal: one of the best views you'll get anywhere in Istanbul.
Location is perfect...close to Taksim square, metro, shopping street, just 5 min walk from HaviIST airport shuttle drop-off.
We checked the SPA at 20.00hr one night and it was fully functional and staffed, so the hotel justifies the SPA in the name.
All staff were English speakers, whist general feel of Istanbul restaurant was so-so
1. Comfortable transfer from the airport to the hotel and back. The journey time is just under 10 minutes.
2. Excellent restaurant onsite, which is open until 00:00.
3. Rooms are clean and spacious.
4. Very friendly staff, comparable to 5 star hotels.
5. Would definitely recommend to other Istanbul transiters/visitors.
Erboy is a very nice hotel, very well located between 2 tram/metro stops. Few min walk to Bosphorus and Sultanahmet.
Staff is friendly, special thanks to Guest Relations manager, Egle, for the advices and for booking for us bosphore cruise trip.
Would highly recommend for staying in Istanbul.
It was our fourth or fifth time in this hotel. this is our favorite hotel in istanbul. the staff is just perfect
always there to help. especially Murat that he became a friend and always happy to help and giving info. the location is TOP! right on the Taksim square. don't hesitate!
This stay was an emergency stay because of 1st May. Our main hotel was at Taksim square, the centre of Istanbul. Because of the 1st May celebrations the centre was closed so we were forced to search for a hotel close to the airport. Location is 20 minutes from airport.
The location is excellent, being close to Taksim Square, and the hotel itself is stunning. However, the rooms are small for accommodation, which is typical of many hotels in Istanbul.
Rrally was good hotel near airport very clean room was clean amele was perfect personel was great Wi-Fi was work fast the best option near İstanbul airport
