Mbuyuni Beach Village is beautifully situated in the green. The complex is an oasis to relax and the accommodation is very well maintained and the pool invites you to relax. The breakfast consists of fresh fruit, toast, egg of your choice and a delicious fresh fruit juice. It is located between Paje and Jambiani, so especially in the evening when it is dark you are dependent on a means of transport, which can be organized by the hotel. The bungalows are very large and spacious. We had a very nice and relaxing stay. We would come back anytime.

It was a small lovely hotel on the beach. The beautyful garden and the pool was very well kept. All service was outstanding. All staff was incredibly friendly and everyting we asked for was taken care of at once. The food was good and the chefs were flexible regarding my food intolerance. Bed was comfortable and AC effective. Lovely to sit on the balcony of the cottage in the afternoon and at sunset.

Villa Juliana is a coastal gem located on the pristine shores of Jambiani, Zanzibar. At our beachfront villas, authenticity meets modern comfort, and luxury embraces nature and sustainabilty.

Excellent breakfast with a view. Lovely and helpful staff and owner. The room and the hotel area was very clean. It did not matter that there was no A/C, the fan worked well, even when the humidity was high after raining. The pool was very nice during low tides when the sea literally ”disappered”.

Excellent hotel, great terraces with bath. We also ordered a special breakfast with a floating tray in the pool. An excellent experience. I would recommend the hotel for a post-wedding trip. Service very good, food delicious. The view, the location - excellent ! Very good hotel!

The view of the ocean from the room was great. It truly is a place you can go to get away and unwind.We liked the manager, Francisco's immediate response to rectify our concerns after the power outage due to a generator issue. He immediately was able to rectify the issue and comped our first night dinner and gave us a room upgrade for the trouble. The restaurant where very friendly and pleased.

    If you like large good value for money hotels and you are...

    If you like large good value for money hotels and you are looking for all inclusive then this is for you. I opted for this hotel for the safari option and for that reason it was well worth it. Book local hire taxis and next time I would stay at a smaller hotel not catering for the masses, but that’s my fault for not researching it more. Just not sure a hotel that size works in that location.

    Although it is far from the airport, being on the south side...

    Although it is far from the airport, being on the south side of the Island, this hotel is located very conveniently. There is a turtle cave, a swimming cave and dolphin viewing within 15 minutes drive from the hotel. I did not need to find restaurants as the hotel provided all meals.

    Jambiani is a great place to visit when you aren't looking for an extremely busy beach with lots of noise. That being said, there were still "beach parties" with noise until about midnight. Be aware of the high and low tides, and plan your activities accordingly. Several great restaurants and bars on the small walkable beach. Always felt safe as a solo female traveler.

    Cinnamon hotel is wonderful place. Great atmosphere and personel. You can choose different option from breakfast sets every morning. Additionally you have also delicious option for dinner (fantastic thai soup :) ) and really good drinks. Personel is very helpful, they arranged for us taxi for shoping, transfer to airport. The private beach near swimming pool is very nice and with free sunlongers for the guests. Rooms are cleaned every day. We were group of 6 people and really recommend this place on Zanzibar.

    Beautiful view from the room we booked. Hotel has a guest manager who checks in on all guests, which is a nice touch. Hotel has 2 other hotels that they work with so they try to keep it interesting, with breakfast moving between the lodges. It's right on the beach so easy access to many restaurants and hotels in the area.. Water cooler for guests and glass bottle in room so you can refill water anytime you need, with the blazing heat in Zanzibar, this was a nice touch.

    EVERYTHING! The staff, the individual cabins, the food, the pools, the beach, the cleainess, and the list goes on and on. What a wonderful place to end a 3 1/2 week vacation to Tanzania. The games room was an added touch, as well. The decor was amazing, too! Seeing as it is a smaller facility, which is what we enjoy, the staff remembered your names. It was like your home away from home! You will not be disappointed with choosing this hotel.

    A little gem in Jambiani. I traveled around Tanzania for 3 weeks and this is for sure the best hostel I stayed in! Great atmosphere and very welcoming people in the bar and management. Very sad that I only had one night to spend at this beautiful place. The breakfast was great, but best of all was the people there. Lots of sunbeds, hammocks and little areas where you can sit and relax. Located directly at the beach.

Great facilities, beautiful settings right on the beach, nice restaurant with wood fired pizza. The service was 5 Stars.     This is a fantastic location in Jambiani, right on the beach and in proximity to so many other things. The staff was very friendly and responsive, always available to help us with anything we needed. We also loved their excursions, particularly going out on the wooden sailboat and going snorkeling - what a wonderful find! And their sister site has the best wood fired pizzas - highly recommended!

    This is a perfect boutique hotel on the beach in Jambiani a lovely spot in the south east of Zanzibar. The hosts are very welcoming and inforrmative. The staff lovely and friendly.     This was exactly the isolated, relaxed sort of place that I was looking for. Situated on a quiet beach in the south of Zanzibar, facing the Indian Ocean with a wonderful warm breeze. The staff was friendly and I had a nice night watching the AFCON matches in the social/eating area. They upgraded me to one of the beach facing bungalows as well.
