Zenj House is simply fantastic. Great location, very calm - we even got served English breakfast with fresh juice. The host / host family is the nicest and most helpful you will ever meet and will go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be (e.g., order great Indian food at night, help find things at the airport’s lost and found). I loved my room and high bed, it was very romantic. Fast wifi worked well all around the hotel. Hotel decorations, traditional lamps, doors, paintings, wardrobes etc were really unique, stunning. The hotel was colorful and charming inside. Attention to detail. Mosquito net around bed. Great location, easy to walk around the entire old town, just a 2-minute walk to the ferry terminal and a few more minutes to the beach. Cute bathrobes in my room. Restaurant at the main floor.
