We recently stayed at this hotel, the experience was absolutely remarkable. The view of the ocean from our room was simply breathtaking. The food variety here surpassed my expectations compared to other hotels in Zanzibar, we took breakfast and dinner included, during the day we were eating at excursions or in the restaurat of the hotel which was nice. The staff was super friendly and always ready to help.
My boyfriend proposed to me here, and it was amazing! The manager and half of the staff helped make it super special. The team's support and effort made the moment magical. The setting was beautiful, and everyone was so excited and helpful. Big thanks to the manager for making our engagement day so memorable. If you want a place with a staff that goes the extra mile, this hotel is perfect. We'll always remember our special moment here! Highly recommend it to others!

Its Amazing.. i enjoyed my time there. Very warm welcome from the reception Pascal and the manager David who making sure everything is fine. Wifi is very fast and its everywhere. Food and Staff are the best. Clean and quiet. Only the beach area, everytime i try to spend time on the umbrella bed there was always beach boys come to me which make my self cant enjoy my time. Also the bed its a bit too hard for me. Was expecting more soft and fluffy with thick blanket. My driver Aliy is the best driver. Overall its amazing, i will definitely come back.

Not much to do around the resort as it is far away from most main attractions however the resort is quite and very large with plenty of sports facilities such as a tennis court, game rooms, pools etc. they also offer night entertainment that I felt could be improved. a number of restaurant to choose from and special pool and beach dinner nights were exceptional and very fun.

Perfect sunshine (if you are travelling from North Europe or Canada). Tourists are usually pestered in the beach areas (to be sold something). There is significant seaweed farming, so it is unfornatley a pleasant beach and ocean made deeply unpleasant by humans.

This beach is lovely, white sand, clear blue water that so warm. Lots of little kids around, not too many beach boys. Amazingggg views of the sunrise every morning. The community is lovely. Lots of nearby hotels and restaurants.

The village is tourist friendly even though I blend in quite well. We managed to walk a lot within the village as well as on the beach. There’s a number of grocery shops and one grocery store that takes cards with a 5% charge. The smaller hotels don’t take card so you’d need to carry cash.
Found it to be a very relaxing atmosphere without loud music, just avoid the masai if you didn’t come shopping or speak to them and support their local business 😅. They’ll surely try to sell you something.
Would have stayed longer if I didn’t need to get back to work the beach is endless especially in the mornings when the tide is out. Loved that there were options; surfing, kites, horse riding, snorkeling, amongst other activities.

The location of the resort on the East coast of Zanzibar is fantastic, and a real sanctuary where you can unwind. The number of restaurants is also great, with the ability to book via an app, and the staff at every one are wonderfully attentive. Also our room (a Junior Suite) was perfect for the 4 of us, including a 17 & 14 year old, not that we spent much time there! Finally it was lovely to see how well maintained the grounds of the resort are - well done to all involved in delivering a great holiday experience!
Great location, felt safe and great customer service from the team. Private beach was amazing experience
Bedrooms are good value for money, beds are a good size and very comfortable. Clean bedding and net for mosquito protection.
Restaurant is amazing overlooking the ocean, chef makes great burgers and fresh fruit juices. Loved the welcome drinks that we were served upon arrival after a 7hour flight. Food overall was good and fresh.
-The location overlooking a beautiful white sand beach and a swimming pool.
-the owner Mr Amr is very kind, welcoming and very professional, always attentive.
-The restaurant is excellent, you can enjoy good fish and meat dishes with fresh produce.
-the kindness and professionalism of the staff.
-the hotel is next to the village where you can buy fresh fruit and meet people.
-very quiet and relaxing hotel I will return with pleasure.
We stayed in 3 different places on our visit to Zanzibar, and Mambo was the best. So close to the beautiful beach. The food was good too. Staff was lovely and our room was cleaned every evening. The pool was lovely too, very clean. But the best part was definitely the beach. So clean and gorgeous. Next time we will spend our entire stay at mambo instead of staying in different places.
It is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. There is a lot of space inside and outside with tables and beds to make yourself comfortable everywhere. The pool has a good size and depth but the weather was strange and it was too cold for us to use it. The service was great, good breakfast, cleaning everyday, good products in the bathroom, as good as any hotel. Great value!
Marijani is a modern luxurious hotel with great decoration. The staff pays attention to every detail. The room and beach were really clean every day. The food was exceptional, huge appreciation to the chef. The location and the security is great as well. The service and room design was great. The bed was really comfortable and big. I can only suggest this place for everyone.
The property was well spaced out and
Had lot of greenery . Lot of activities in the evening to keep guests entertained . The chef in Andiamo restaurant made an extra effort to make my husband’s birthday special by not only baking a cake but he called the music band of the hotel to sing Happy Birthday for him and I really appreciate that .
This hotel was a really nice surprise. Big, modern and new resort located right on the beach. The food and the drinks are super good at the hotel. Therefore, I recommend to go for the all-inclusive option. The outdoor restaurant located close to the beach with a sea view is amazing. The rooms are big and modern. Would like to come back!
The staff at Mambo resort are very helpful, and they pay attention to individuals. They served me and my wife always with a smile on. They checked on us if we needed anything. I really enjoyed the special dinner at night at the beach! Nelson, Ben, Doris, and Sajin were awesome! I can't wait to return to Mambo Beach Resort.
The place is very quiet and feels homey quickly thanks to the super nice and attentive staff. Food is good and the chef considers dietary considerations in personalised meals. Perfect spot to observe sea weed farming, long walks on the beach and great, local food in the 2-3 restaurants in the village behind the beach.
The location is gorgeous, waking up to the sounds of the beach is my new obsession. Staff is very kind and helpful. They helped us to book the most amazing tour of the island; we saw dolphins and visited mnemba island. The food was great. We definitely will be back.
The hotel is still very new, the rooms were very clean, the pool is large and the resort is situated right by beach which was very clean with clear waters. We stayed on half board and the food was amazing, both breakfast and dinner are served as buffet.
The room was very spacious and super cozy, very clean and with a lot of attention to detail.
Very close to the amazing beach of Pwani Mchangani.
The staff is super friendly and available to support you during all your stay. Very recommended.
The personal was friendly and nice to talk to. Especielly Aisha who was the manager in the hotel. It is next to the beach but you can not swim so much because of the tide. The landscabe on the beach changes during the day.
Stuff of hotel Sky and Sand hotel beach were nice, kind and always helpfull. I had a amazing time and I hope I will come back in a future. Thank you for everything. Asante sana.
