The size of the room was nice. The bed was comfortable, but we didn't get much sleep with the kids in the room above us jumping all over the floor, some nights until midnight.

The location was very convenient. Walking distance from the office I was supposed to go to. Hassle free checkin and checkout.

I booked two rooms for five days at the Extended Stay Hotel in Alameda. One for my mother and sister, the other for me and my brother. Late into the night, my mom started knocking on my door. She was complaining about how her room smelled like it had a chemical leak. As I walked back to her room in the hallway, I noticed gas like vapors slowly coating most of the second floor. This wasn’t just my mom’s nostril sensitivity; the hallway was literally covered in what smelled like a fuel leak from a busted pipe. Me and my family decided to check out in order to keep my mom from literally dying as a result of being exposed to the toxic vapors. I only received a refund for the booking fee of the first room I purchased. I’m still trying to get back the rest of my money. Later that week, my sister researched review of the Extended Stay in Alameda CA. It turns out there have been complaints over the same toxic, nausea inducing smell.

Alameda is beautiful within itself the beautiful trees the nice clean streets that was fear of beachfront luxury you don't have to go anywhere else but beaches are beautiful the sand melts between your toes.
You have the comfort of an island right in your backyard the beach the shopping the food and the convenience of luxury hotel vacation island stay.
And you have the view of San Francisco all the pleasures and comfort of California... it's what I call "breathtaking"
You have the 24 hour Walgreens and the shoreline Outlet as well as Park Street dining and entertainment one of my favorite places "Monkey King Pub" are garlic fries is to die for..lol and whatever you're eating pallet prefer Park Pl has it over 2 mile of eateries. You have the bowling alley, late night bars, and let's not forget "Shop til You Drop"... Alameda is definitely a favorite of mine!

We left a tip and a message for the housekeeper to replace the duvet with blankets and she left the blankets on the bed. She did not speak English. I tried to communicate in my pobrecito Espanol, but I did not accurately convey my message.

I loved the Island although we spend most of our time on tours in and around San Francisco. It was like coming home in the evening, Its a quiet neighborhood, very clean. Ferry rides are awesome. Very often and inexpensive. Takes you right to pier 41
The room was very roomy. The view and location was absolutely perfect. Super close to the event we were going to for daughter's prom on the yacht, which made it super easy to get ready at the hotel. We decided to stay in hotel because we live in East Bay and couldn't fight the Friday Traffic to get to the doc on time after school. Perfect location. The room has nice kitchen, big frig and giant mirror. The view was AMAZING!
Perfect spot for the weary traveler coming from the airport. Short Lyft/Uber drive from Oakland Airport. It's a beautiful property right on the Marina, it's clean, has all the single use things you would need, and super friendly and helpful staff. The area is also amazing, peaceful and quiet.
This is the 4th time I stay there. Great location on alameda, nice place and view, the fact that the rooms have a little kitchen with stove and sink is one of the reason that I chose this place too, all the rooms have a nice deck too, the staff is always kind and helpful, safe location.
Beautiful House on a very quiet street in Alameda. Despite being part of Oakland, Alameda looks very tidy and feels absolutely secure. Nice cafes and bistros in close proximity.
The room and garden were fantastic and we would have loved to stay longer.
Highly recommended!
I thought the woman at the front desk was very helpful, professional, and friendly. I also really liked the shuttle driver that picked me up from the airport. The hotel itself was great but the shuttle service prices and the service people made it exceptional!
The front desk woman who greeted me and checked me in was wonderful! The hotel was close to the company for whom I work, and the room was quiet and comfortable. It seems that a lot f workers stay there, and they are all pretty quiet.
If you want to stay in Alameda, it is comfortable, clean and you have a kitchen with an actual stove and sink in your room, which is handy. The beds are fine and the staff helpful.
The house is on the most beautiful street in Alameda! Gorgeous landscaping, and amazing modern and retro decor. We were very comfortable during our stay.
We were turned away because the hotel was overbooked… had to sleep in our car in the parking lot as we waited leave on a flight out of the Oakland airport
