A privilege and a pleasure to stay in this mid-20th century-modern motel! The building, painted orange, with the creative calligraphy of its big sign, is great. Our room was completely up-to-date: very comfortable, spacious, good reading lights by the bed, wall-to-wall carpet (when other motels have switched to fake parquet), and clean. A nice breakfast bar. On a main street, but we weren't troubled by noise. The swimming pool is on the small side, but after a long, hot day on the freeways, I appreciated the chance to have a refreshing dip.

The room was clean; the linens as well (more on that below). We welcomed the fact that there was a refrigerator, but was a little surprised that it wasn't plugged in, which we didn't immediately notice, no big deal. The bed was reasonable comfortable.

The owner and staff were very welcoming and friendly and check in went smoothly. I stayed here because I was attending a convention in town. It is recommended to have a car though to get around, but the bus stop to downtown is a short walk away from this motel.
The motel is under renovation and I stayed in a newly renovated room. Very clean and the bed was comfortable.
