We went to Berlin to see a show at the Amish Theater (British Invasion-very good show). Stayed at the Berlin Encore Hotel which was located next to the Amish Theater with access directly thru the hotel. There is plenty of shopping, restaurants and Amish crafts, cheeses and meats in the markets. We had a 2 hour trip to get there and the scenery was beautiful. Berlin has something for everyone. Worth the trip.

We enjoyed taking the time and seeing things we normally don't get the time to stop and see we are locals only a hour away but when we are there it's business so we don't get time to stop and look well worth your time.

Everything in Berlin is easily accessible by walking.
Everything in Berlin is easily accessible by walking. There are many shopping options for crafts, collectibles, some furniture, antiques, lawn & garden items, candy & treats. There are several dining options including pizza, home style food, coffee shop/deli, DQ. Table Rock Pizza offered great old world style pizza. There is a shop there that has over 50 flavors of fudge, a huge selection of sodas, salt water taffy, ice cream, etc. There is also a grocery store, drug store, bank, gas station and other typical businesses. The only down side is that being in Amish country, virtually everything is closed on Sunday. Plan your trip accordingly.

Just wish new owners offered the free night after so many stays. We really appreciated that. Plus it shows they appreciated us. It was an incentive to stay there and not go somewhere else. You might want to rethink that.

We love the quietness, and driving through the countryside.
We love the quietness, and driving through the countryside. Our favorite place to eat was the Plain and Simple Diner. The ice cream is delicious! I am a quilter and the Helping Hands Quilt Shop and Zinck's Fabric Outlet are two of my favorite spots. We also enjoyed browsing for treasures at the various thrift shops in the area.
The Breakfast was great with a wide variety to choose from , eggs, sausage, waffles, fruits, cereals, yogurt, muffins, oatmeal and toast . Juices , milk and coffee. They also had like a mini store in lobby. Rooms were very spacious. Close to shopping where you could walk to everything on Main Street Berlin . The big Farmstead Restaurant was literally across parking lot . We will stay here again . Staff was very friendly. But as always all shopping closes at 5pm .
I absolutely love staying at this hotel. Whenever I travel to Berlin, mainly for quilting purposes, this is my favorite place to stay. Very clean, nice pool, and I love sitting on my own balcony in the evening reading a book and watching the beautiful sunset! Plus, their free breakfast is delicious!
Close to downtown Berlin. Breakfast was good. Coffee and tea service available at all times. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful view of countryside from balcony. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Close parking and rooms are easily accessible.
The location was perfect to enjoy Berlin. Loved the plethora of pillows and how comfy the bed was! The breakfast was plentiful and the staff was so kind and accommodating. I would 💯 bring my family back to enjoy this hotel with me! 😁
Excellent hot breakfast and friendly staff. We have stayed here in the past because of the convenient location. We go to Amish Country Ohio about every two months and this will probably be our choice of accommodations in the future.
Breakfast was nice..very friendly staff, helpful on where to eat dinner. Rooms were very clean. Location was great right in Berlin. We will be returning to Berlin Village Inn on are next visit to Amish Country. THANKS!!
The breakfast is nice however at 9:00 am most of the breakfast was gone. I loved the cleanliness. I thought it was a brand new hotel but I found out it is 15 years old. The grounds are also well taken care of.
We travel quite often and this may be the cleanest hotel we've come across. It had the amenities we need: coffee maker, fridge, microwave and comfortable beds. I would highly recommend this hotel.
It's a little bit of an older place, but it has charm, it's in walking distance main strip and the beds were soooooooooo comfortable. This will be my new go-to place when I visit Berlin.
Clean and simply decorated room. Simple hot breakfast in breakfast area overlooking countryside. Helpful staff. Within walking distance of Sheiyah Market in downtown Berlin.
It's a very nice cozy place! Love how the little kitchen was incorporated and had everything needed! Beds were comfortable! It was very clean! Definitely better than a hotel!
Great breakfast and service of rooms was also a nice addition. We had been traveling for awhile and this was the first hotel to service our room daily without a request.
