Simply a nice area to stay.
Simply a nice area to stay. Close to Frankenmuth and Bronner's Christmas store. Nice outlet mall in Birch Run. Don't miss out on breakfast at Tony's. There are a lot of restaurants between Birch Run and Frankenmuth. Goal Post Pizza is the best. Right now they do not have dine-in but there is a very nice gazebo in front of the restaurant with a table and you can watch all of the locals going past. When in Frankenmuth take a break at Dead Creek Saloon just south of town on M-83. My wife and I had a great time. Remember, It is all what you make it. I say, "Make it a good time with great memories." There is a little road construction on the road to Birch Run and the outlet mall but it moves well. This hotel is clean and well-appointed with easy access to elevators and a well-lit parking lot. When I closed the black-out window shades the room was dark and quiet, an invitation to a perfect sleep. The bed was comfortable. I would recommend not getting hopes up if your looking to relax in a comfortable hot tub or refreshing dip in the pool. Good nights sleep (comfy bed, quiet hotel) with continental breakfast (plus make your own waffle/substandard recipe, no eggs or meat). The attendant explained the amenities available with our stay without my asking. The room itself was satisfactory for an older built hotel, $10 cheaper than the nearest priced room around us, very near the huge outlet shopping mall, the bed was comfortable, the tv is small but the best part was the room was shiny clean. The hotel room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. I had no problems, issues, or concerns at this hotel, and overall I had a great stay.
