Great location close to the centre of Brevard, close enough to walk with a selection of bars and restaurants. The surrounding area has a host of walking opportunities in the forests, riverside walks, and waterfalls. The local breweries are also worth a visit with a great selection of beers available.

    Quaint and charming town.

Quaint and charming town. Loved the hiking trails and falls even though it was raining. If looking for somewhere to eat definitely check out Square Root restaurant downtown. 5 stars for food and service.

We loved hiking the Looking Glass Overlook trail as well as looking at the waterfalls in the area. Getting around was incredibly easy. I was worried we’d get lost with no signal for GPS, but they had everything labeled with signs and it was easy to find our way.

Honestly, my son and I found ourselves a little bored with 4 days to spend there. There's lots of quaint shops and mountain bike trails that were too advanced for us. We couldn't find the main paved bike path of the town. The AWESOME guy at Squatch Bike Rentals - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! - told us how to get there. We had been right on top of it of the path, but it was not obvious at all. We would have missed out on the most fun part of our trip. That was an awesome ride for a forty-something mom and a twelve-year-old boy who spends most his time gaming. Hey, we got outside. Score a point for Brevard. Two other points for Brevard: Kiwi Gelato and Mantiques. We also loved the white squirrels. 2 - 3 days max, and you'll appreciate Brevard.

The people were very friendly and helpful. All the restaurants that we ate in were reasonable and the food was very good. There were several great shops to browse. We especially liked the White Squirrel and the Tea and Spice shop.

We attended the Brevard Music Festival which was a short drive from the Campbell House. We were within walking distance of several nice restaurants. We went to Marco Tratorria across the street, the Blue Ridge Bakery, Quotations for coffee and a muffin and Falls Landing for great seafood.
