I reserved the room from booking.com and received several emails saying that they were looking forward to our stay. when we called for the shuttle, we found out there was none, at 11:00pm. We were under the impression that they had shuttle 24/7. We had to hire a taxi, and when we arrived, Hampton did not have our reservation, even though I showed her our confirmation numbers from both booking.com and hampton inn. Long and short--we were stranded without a room at midnight in Chicago. This was the single worst travel experience we have ever had and we'll never use booking.com or hampton inn again.

I stay there once a year, as I live overseas and visit my family is nearby. Each time I stay, I am impressed by the kind and accommodating staff. Whether it’s breakfast or a drink at the bar in the evening, they are fantastic. Shahene, Ryan and the female evening bartender whose name slips my memory always have a smile and kind words. Also, the young and welcoming reception staff are always there for any needs and smiles. Well done!

Don’t go here. Well I get off work late and I guess they will be doing a shift change and make me wait until they are done. Like I had a guy tell me he could not check me in because he clocked out and the next shift was running late. I was pissed it took them an hour and I had just got off of work. Employees are rude. Room stinks. Motel 6 will never get another dollar out of me good luck going here. It’s not work it.Watkins - 10Scored 10

Was allowed to check in early. Room was clean except air conditioner filters were gross, i washed them in bathtub. Smelled like weed but that dont bother me ( no, i dont smoke.) I had my teenage grandkids with me, and all of us enjoyed our stay here! The Branding Iron restaurant nearby, was exceptionally great food! The breakfast bar at the Hampton was also excellent! The staff, from checking in, cleaning staff, and breakfast bar staff were friendly, helpful, made us feel at home!

Took 15 minutes for someone to tend the front desk after we first entered the hotel. The staff woman was rude, short, and seemed to enjoy the misfortune that was upon me. The hotel manager at 8am the next morning was even worse. I would avoid this property at all costs.AAnonymous

There were a lot of options in the area, within 30 minutes walk, for food which was great; however, we did have to drive everywhere. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were fantastic, everyone we dealt with was very kind and helpful. Luckily got this booking and it was not bad. Just 30 mins from downtown. Reached there at 11 pm and the person at reception was kind and professional. The corridor and the hotel was really clean. The room was also clean and had all the needed amenities. There was breakfast too.
