Great location outside Tropic close to Bryce Canyon with terrific views. Spotless apartment clearly lovingly looked after by the owners who live on the floor above the apartment. Well provided with all needed to cook with lots of extras provided. And was special to see the house through our binoculars from Bryce Point in the National Park.
Set in Tropic and only 20 km from Sunrise Point, Bryce Countryside Residence offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.
This is a must-see national park
. It is best experienced by hiking its trails. However, the shuttle system will take you to all trail heads if you just want to look. The surrounding area doesn't offer much in the way of restaurants - Ruby's is probably the best.

Rooms are good and clean. Spacious parking space.
Rooms are good and clean. Spacious parking space. But no Washing machines, no Hot water was coming on this day when we stayed. The hotel was professional enough to monetarily compensate us for the inconvenience caused due to no hot water. I appreciate this gesture.

We toured all five Utah's parks over two trips this past summer and fall. Zion is our favorite but Bryce is a close second. Both have awesome scenery, one looking up and one looking down. We are "geriatric" hikers, found both the Bryce zig-zag trail to the bottom and back up, and the Zion trail to Angel's landing, reasonably well maintained and challenging. We were on a schedule so basically had one day (after an early morning run from St. George) to take in the marvelous views and do our hike before checking in to Ruby's Inn. Convenient, reasonable, and memorable, a find for two seniors on a budget.

This is one of the most beautiful areas.
This is one of the most beautiful areas. The hotel was clean, and pleasent. We had the biggest continental breakfast ever in a very nice barn.
There was inside pool and hot tub but we didn't have time to enjoy we spent most of our time in the national park.

The room and facilities were NOTHING like the photos.
The room and facilities were NOTHING like the photos. The bathroom loo seat was broken, the room itself was tiny with little room to walk about.
The quality of furnishings was poor.
The decor was tired to the point of being worn out. The room had clearly not been refurbished since the 1970s and was NOTHING like the photos which were clearly misleading.
The entire experience was poor. There was no option for breakfast and calling the restaurant a “restaurant” was a stretch. More like a cheap cafe.

Amazing!
Amazing! I've always wanted to see Bryce and it doesn't disappoint. The views are incredible. Took a trail ride to the bottom on the canyon and the guide was very knowledgeable of the area and made the ride fun.
You have access to all of the facilities in the area because they are all owned by the same family. You are within a short walk to the shuttle to Bryce Canyon and the restaurant where your breakfast is served for free has a fantastic buffet. We went there for the supper buffet as well and loved it. We stayed at the more economical part of the hotel but it was clean and pleasant and met all of our needs. We would highly recommend Bryce View Lodge and would definitely stay there again.
The location is perfect if your objective is to visit Bryce Canyon NP, it takes 5 to 10 minutes to arrive to the first major trail, which is Sunset/Sunrise. The hotel is structured into different buildings. Each morning we walked to the main building to have breakfast, which is included in the price. The main building has a large gift shop and post office, and is a good place to hang out. Price is good for such a facility. There are three restaurants at the hotel or nearby.
The hotel was very close to Bryce Canyon and felt like it was fairly new. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast buffet was excellent. It was a great base to explore Bryce Canyon National Park. We were here in March with snow still on the ground, so the pool was closed but it looked nice. We didn't brave the cold to hit the outside hot tube but we did see other guests enjoying it. The staff was friendly. I would stay again.
They had a very welcoming lobby with a large fireplace with a fire going. ( it was a very cold day!) The room was large and clean with a microwave and refrigerator. Ruby's had a decent restaurant (The only one open in the area) and the breakfast buffet was pretty good. The hotel is located very near Bryce Canyon National Park and perfect for visiting the canyon.
There is not a lot to Bryce canyon City but this hotel was entirely appropriate and comfortable. The included breakfast was a real bonus and a great way to start a day of hiking. Just minutes away from Bryce canyon, which was a bonus too. Just be aware that in the off season there are almost no places to eat in the 'town' so pack in some munchies.
The hotel location is close to the gate of Bryce Canyon, making it very easy to see the sights. Checking in and out was efficient and easy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfy, and facilities as needed. The breakfast had an excellent choice of different items and service was well organized.
Room was clean and spacious. The rate was reasonable. Excellent location. The shuttles of Bryce Canyon National Park have stops nearby. The National Park is just 5-10 mins drive from here. The staff was very friendly and explained everything clearly.
Not far from Bryce Canyon National Park.
Nice Staff.
Restaurant on site was helpful and convenient.
The individual cabins looked really nice.
Outdoor Pool and hot tub on site looked nice but we didn't have time to give them a try.
The property is conveniently located to visit the Bryce Canyon National Park. The entrance to the park is less than 5 minutes away by car. It is quiet despite being close to the highway. We enjoyed a warm breakfast every day.
The hotel is very close to Bryce Canyon and there is a Mexican restaurant right across the parking lot. Hotel is very clean. Sea and coffee available in the lobby.
Good breakfast nearby. Good location for Bryce Canyon. We are very grateful to the young man at the desk who brought us much needed bandages and first aid.
