Cute room, river view, comfy beds, and the staff were so warm and welcoming to our children. Terrific dinner restaurant right across the street. Couldn't ask for a better location downtown.

Cute, cozy, very clean room. It’s nice having a heater in there, windows that open if you like, shampoo, conditioner & body wash in the shower, full hand soap dispenser, a dryer, Roku, ability to stream and sign into your own Netflix or Amazon Prime accounts, an adequate desk space, and mini fridge and microwave Wi-Fi a desk light AND, awesome shower water pressure!
It’s nice to have contactless registration and a code for your door lock and to be able to park right in front of your room isn’t nice bonus.
I interacted with one of the owners, Rick, who was very good at communicating, and following up and friendly. They offer some breakfast fare & coffee etc., too.
I would definitely recommend.

nice little city from maine with nice walk in front of the lake nice fort nice bridge boats and close enough to acadia national park to go there daily but pay not inflationed prices in local shops, supermarket etc very different from if you try to do it from inside the park or bar harbor area which is much more expensive and less genuine in terms of what is like to live in Maine

Great location for trips.
Great location for trips. Approximately one hour to Acadia/Bar Harbor. Just across the river from the fort and a 42 foot elevator ride to an observation area at top of the bridge. Just up the rtoad on Hwy. 46 a comfortable lobster shack.

Bucksport is only a hop away from some very nice areas, staying in Bucksport is nice because it allows you to get out of the hype of everything, but still close enough to drive back and forth. Fort Knox was awesome though and well worth checking out, as well as the tower.

We'd stayed there before to explore the Blue Hill Peninsula and travel up to Machias. Not much there for us except centrally located for our trip. There were a few restaurants downtown we tried one last time and it was so so. The Dunkin Donuts closed at 8 on Saturday night.... what?

Bucksport is sleepy little town with too few restaurants.
Bucksport is sleepy little town with too few restaurants. There is a beautiful bay, with a view of historic Fort Knox across the water. Along Hwy. 1 going north, there are B&B's and lots of flea markets, swap meets and antique shops. Within half an hour or less of Belfast and Searsport, less than an hour to Ellsworth for shopping.
Owners in the store. Makes a huge difference. Great value, very clean, everything I needed. And it was so quiet I overslept.
I have run a restaurant nearby for over 40 years. I have always referred customers to the Bucksport Motor Inn based mainly on glowing reviews from past customers at the inn. I needed a room myself overnight to escape construction at my house. So glad I got the chance to see for myself. Look forward to sending many more customers their way. Highly recommended!
This is a family run business and the owners take great pride in their motel. It might have been the cleanest motel or hotel we have ever stayed in. And that was very important to us during the current situation with COVID. They were very friendly and helpful. The beds were also comfortable. It was less than an hour to Acadia National Park & Bangor. I would definitely stay again!
Staff was wonderful, the room was very clean-spotless actually. We were not expecting much because of the price and because it is a motel not a hotel, but this place was perfect and exceeded our expectations! We will be coming back next week and will be looking to stay here again. For the price, this place far exceeds it's value and worth every penny and then some!
There was no breakfast I was told it was because of covid but that was r a problem with guests checking in or out and all using the same area.
It wouldn’t kill you to put a thing of coffee out in the main hall for guest to help themselves to
Wonderful location walking distance from the main street in Bucksport. Kitchen had all the necessary utensils & appliance. It was very convenient to have laundry. Comfortable beds, nice living area and space for the kiddos to spread out.
River view of Fort Knox and Bridge from room was beautiful. Riverwalk was right in front of hotel and easily accessible with plenty of benches to sit and read. Restarurants and ice cream shop across street.
The waterfront view is spectacular. This hotel is close enough to the major attraction in the area like Bangor or Bar Harbor, but far enough you have quiet when you back at you room to relax.
Perfect spot for exploring multiple areas of Maine. Wonderful young women working the front desk! Super clean rooms! Easy walk to grocery store and to downtown for restaurants.
Realy nice place with very friendly Personal. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. I can recommand the Bucksport Inn for all kind of travelers. Keep going.
Beautiful view of the water and Fort Knox. Fabulous restaurant right across the street. Beds were very comfortable. An older hotel. Charming and very clean.
