It is centrally located between Anchorage and Fairbanks, and so close to Denali. We were there in the middle of winter, so I can’t comment much on restaurants (Totem Bar in Healey was awesome!). Backwoods Lodge was a terrific lodging in Cantwell. Great dogsled facility, Squid Acres Kennel, just down the road. I would return to Cantwell, for sure!ejs_usaUnited States - 8.0Scored 8.0

Good place to stay near entrance to Denali, 27 miles away. Reasonable rates and great food at Cantwell Lodge, wonderful people, but not much else in Cantwell except train station and great mountain views.
