The lobby was clean and updated but
our room looked like it was decorated in the 80's. Lighting was terrible and the wallpaper was coming loose in the bathroom with sheetrock coming out.

I don't like the drama that most of the born here people are about. I do like some of the scenery around carson city nv. My favorite restaurant is San Marcos grill. If you are new to this area and like the out doors you should go check out the water falls. That is a great place.

It is a very nice, easy to navigate town. The government center is a must-see! I really enjoyed our stay as we were passing through. They have every kind of convenience but there is also a beautiful abundance of natural spaces.

We ate at Olive Gardens and Red's 395 BBQ.
Getting around was very easy and short time to get to Reno and
Virginia City. I loved Carson City, was very clean and seems like
a nice place to live. I will come back.

Absolutely beautiful, most places we went were inviting to...
Absolutely beautiful, most places we went were inviting to us. We are a mixed family and we noticed in some areas we weren’t welcomed. Go cart place in Carson was very disrespectful to my daughters, partner and I when we went go cart racing. They were playing white power music and being rude to us. We continued to stay, to ignore them. staff was not professional at all, we had to keep asking where to go, the female kinda just shoved the helmets are way. We waited after 3 other groups of people who were Caucasian go before us, essentially we waited over an hour to go. Then our turn was very short. I would not recommend this place at all. If you are any shade of brown, do not go here.
Yogurt beach was INCREDIBLE, a must go. Get the pineapple, burst of flavor non stop!
We did drive out of Carson daily, must go to Caps pizza near kings beach, INCREDIBLE PIZZA, and very welcoming staff. A must go!
Also the Grid for burgers and wings!!
Bathroom small, real nice shower, but water pressure was really low. Sink water pressure was good but shower pressure was a trickle. Breakfast was good. Prefer booths over chairs. We were non-smoking and could not smell any smoke. That was a good thing. Recommendation, room needs two chairs, sitting on the bed was uncomfortable. We like the stay enough that we are booking next week. See doctors in Carson city, nice do you have a place to stay that is close to the doctors Just need that extra chair. P.S. slot machines did not Pay well.haha
Don’t judge a book by its cover…the outside isn’t well maintained. If you look at the windows on the ground floor the hotel looks sketchy. Once you get inside the rooms aren’t terrible. The beds are clean and comfortable. Since hotels don’t make it comfortable for a family over 4 we have to rent 2 rooms with 2 beds in each room. Therefore we have to go with lower end hotels to make it affordable. The receptionists were extremely helpful and very friendly. I would go here again for sure.
Breakfast was a 45 minute wait. There was ZERO priority given to guest of the hotel. Guest should have priority in the restaurant and all facilities given the price they pay and the fact they are staying at the resort. It was called a resort but there was nothing special about the facility and guests were prioritized at the bottom. Don’t waste your money. NOTHING special about this place. I’ll pay more to stay on Tahoe for the view or somewhere else that prioritizes guests.
We didn’t have hotel breakfast because we slept in. But there is a Dutch Bros down the road. The price was good!! It was a 3 day holiday weekend, and most places were booked up or the prices were ridiculously jacked up. The Roadway Inn was easy to find Not far from the freeway exit. The room was cute, clean, and cozy. The facility was very quiet during the night. And no road traffic noises during the night.
The whole property and specifically our room were all spotlessly clean. The air conditioner worked very well and was more than adequate for an August weekend. The staff was very friendly. The free parking and the elevator were convenient. The hotel was located close to Carson City, which is a delightful little town. It should have been great, but see what we didn't like.
First was the staff, they were very helpful and friendly. COVID as made them set the cleaning to only on checkout but they quickly meet any needs needed. Also liked the large room refrigerator. It was the first time staying in any hotel that food and beverages were kept cold 😀
Breakfast was good and plenty of selections. Location was all right - just a little bit distant from the places that we like to visit in Carson City, but it's not a big deal.
The manager, Fernando, was very welcoming and helpful, as well as the rest of the staff.
Convenient location to Historic Carson City. Breakfast was okay—not a lot of variety available, but there was plenty of food and the dining room was bright and cheerful. Staff was very helpful and friendly
Gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. My son and I were in town to see a terminally ill family member and we were so happy to find this low priced hotel that was very comfortable and safe.
Breakfast was excellent! Real breakfast for sure! Love it
Price was reasonable compared to those hotels in Tahoe
Friendly staff, clean room and comfortable bed.
