Western Nebraska small town college town big stores little stores the law enforcement and government appear completely incompetent but that's just my unquantified unqualified opinion. The rest is wonderful except for the occasional bitter leftist Christ-hater. Jesus Saves the King is Risen!

Chadron Inn was dated that was ok, towels were brought up after we were in the room and that was OK. We were settled in and we couldn't find the remote, I tried calling the front desk, no answer, I went down to the desk clerk and he gave me a new one. Long story short, none of the remotes worked, I asked for wifi, that didn't work and right then I said to him we have to have wifi and that we are checking out. It was 10 pm.

The Chadron Holiday Inn Express is located in a perfect spot. Right off the hwy near a junction. We visited the Chadron Museum and the State park. It was a great experience for all ages. The museum is perfect for learning and teaching the history of America. There are guns and clothing from long ago and the museum staff is very helpful. Great collections there and well kept. The state park is beautiful and offers great amenities. Swimming, camping and fishing in addition to horseback riding and hiking trails. You won't be disappointed.

The bed I slept in was uncomfortable and we each rolled to the center. The AC was a central system without a control on the room. We would have liked the room cooler. There was no ice machine even though it had a sign that said ICE but no machine in the room. The sink and bath controls were very old and difficult to operate. I was very disappointed in the condition of the room and the price it cost. $100.

Came here for the parks and was not disappointed.

Came here for the parks and was not disappointed. However the restaurants in the area are mediocre. Stocking up on food/supplies was limited (I’m guessing that because it was a small town, the grocery store didn’t fully stock shelves which makes sense.). It’s a college town and I guess because there is nothing to do, they light fireworks every night of the year. Makes for a rough resting attempt. Very beautiful scenery in the area though and the parks were very well maintained.

I booked the Travel Lodge through booking and received my confirmation in my email. Thought all was well. My husband was traveling on a motet cycle and I gave him the heads up and reservations made when he arrived at @8:00 Mt time, the Travel Lodge said they had no reservations for him and they had no rooms. It took him Two hours, well after dark which is not a wise time to travel on a motorcycle in a remote area, to get another room. An email had been sent by the Travel Lodge but a person riding a motorcycle cannot read email on the road.

This is a very cheap hotel and the light fixtures did not have outlet covers on them they were open electrical. Whoever painted the last time painted right over the floor boards onto the tub etc. probably the two worst things were one-there was no bolt on the door just a lock and 2-when you took a shower it would turn really cold or really hot really quick so you had to basically stand away from the shower and get wet at the times it was warm and move out quickly. The best part of that hotel it was only $50

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved the layout of the hotel and the room & bathroom were huge, very clean and well stocked. Room was well lit, good beds, the pool area was nicely set up and clean. Well stocked vending machines, great parking, hotel staff answered all our requests and questions thoroughly and timely. They offered a breakfast but we missed it for prior engagements with family.

This hotel is always a stop for us! While looking for some luxury after a long day of travel we booked a king suite, usually, it's the same room, which is gorgeous, this time we got a room with a balcony! Other than storming while we were there, it was a beautiful stay as always!

I was pleasantly surprised that such a small town had such a nice hotel. Room was very large with comfortable bed, seating area and great view. Bathroom was also large with step in shower. Nice grassy pet area in the back with tables, chairs and BBQ.

Breakfast was as advertised. The area is run down and a little suspect. The hotel is under construction. There are building materials all over the place and the pool is under construction as well.
