This hotel is located off of Interstate 95, just 20 minutes’ drive from Richmond city centre and the Richmond Convention Center. It features an on-site sauna and fitness centre.

The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work, the hot water took a long time to get hot, the base around toilet was dirty, baseboards around room were dirty, their was a hole in the ceiling and finally you could tell damage was done to the room and it was painted over.

All I am going to say is beware of what papers you sign.

All I am going to say is beware of what papers you sign. I signed a paper thinking it was a credit card hold paper and the next thing I know they charged me $81 for having a 8lb dog in my room. Nothing on booking.com said anything about a pet charge or I would have never stayed there.

Love Chester, I do not know why I resisted moving here for so long. I think that is going to be our plan. People seem to care about each other more out here. Sure I'm for the grind but we can't leave people behind. Chester doesn't.

It's was a great hotel and room. I enjoyed the spacey rooms comfortable bed. The bathroom was the only thing I had a issues with. It should have been cleaned better. Maybe a little more up to date.

Air conditioning was awful. Lobby and food area not clean. Sheets frayed with a hole. Did not clean room for 3 night stay. Used COVID as an excuse. Bath sink didn’t drain well. No laundry bag. No note pad or pen in room. Not up to standard for a Hampton Inn. Electrical outlet near TV cover broken and easy for a child to access. Beverage machine at breakfast not working.Pillows were hard and awful.

The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, for the most part. I liked that the sink was located outside the bathroom, a bonus when traveling with a family of 5. The lobby and breakfast space was bright and inviting. The staff members were so friendly and inviting. Breakfast had the typical continental offerings but with more variety than other comparable hotels.

I only stay at this hotel when in the area. The staff are friendly and have great leadership. I am always treated well and because I come so much they know my name and save my favorite room for me when I book. Beautiful sitting area with fire place to visit with friends and family. My staff will come to the hotel and work with me in the area with the fire place.
