The best feature for this hotel is the staff. They were exceptional and quite friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable . The location near the dunes and unique restaurants(walk to or several minutes'drive). The setting in the Coffee Crreek preserve which was fun and relaxing to hike around. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We brought our 2 little dogs and there were places to walk them.
The breakfast was part of our stay and was exceptionally good with continental or cooked to order options.

The balcony view of the lake is beautiful this time of year. The room was clean, comfortable beds, and hot water in the shower. Close to good restaurants and things to do.

We liked that it had a large pool for adults and older children, as well as a fun smaller pool that wasnt deep for children and infants. Wish they would have been warmer, they were pretty chilly. Thankful for the jacuzzi.

I enjoyed being right next to the Indiana Dunes State Park and the Indiana Dunes National Park. We also drove approximately 20 miles to attend the LaPorte County 4-H Fair, and it was easy access from the connecting highways in Chesterton. It is a very quaint little town, with wonderful dining and entertainment options. We ate at Lucrezia's in downtown Chesterton, and I would absolutely give the establishment 5 stars! The food and service for superb, eating "al fresco" while enjoying time spent with friends was priceless. I would recommend to everyone!

All area hotels are very close to the Dunes National Park.
All area hotels are very close to the Dunes National Park. Each hotel is supported very well by private businesses providing quality meal selection and even grocery shopping. The people who are employed in this town's tourist industry are really customer focused. They understand the inherent values of satisfying, if not exceeding, customer expectations.

Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and Indiana Dunes State...
Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and Indiana Dunes State Park hiking trails have something for every skill/activity level. Cowles Bog trail is rigorous at times but well worth it for the experience & views. We enjoyed so many of the local, nearby restaurants. Gastro 49 & Suzie's Cafe were our favorites.
The Old Lighthouse Museum is a fun stop with a lot of local history that is unexpected.

I only went to one gas station (BP, I believe), one fast food place (Taco Bell), and one restaurant (Sunrise). The gas station was fine, Taco Bell was faster and nicer than most I've been to, but Sunrise was the real gem. Great service, WONDERFUL food, and decent prices. Would for sure go back :-)

The market in the park on Saturdays, the book shop, red cup Cafe, the Chesterton art Center, the little pottery shop where you can buy a bowl and glaze it yourself. Lots of thrifting stores..Vegan cafe and bakery, the Port drive in..
It was very close location to beaches. The staff was very friendly. Our room was clean which is a big must for me. And I would like to make a suggestion that you please remember to tip your cleaning staff. Doesn't take much to brighten their day. And this is a very busy Hotel constantly needing new cleaning throughout the rooms. Don't forget to be nice to the people who helped your stay to be a success. The small refrigerator in these rooms today is a big plus!
Very nice hotel. Renovations were ongoing so common areas of the hotel were not shown to their best. Room was a good size and updated. Very comfortable.
Bob Evans restaurant is right next door. Other restaurants were very close.
Hotel located close to the highway.
Breakfast was confusing. We weren’t sure what was included in our stay because you can pay extra for a full breakfast.
We loved everything about Riley's Railhouse. The Railhouse was so unique. I loved all the train decor. The breakfast was very good, varied, and amazing. The location was perfect for visiting Indiana Dunes National Park and there were lots of good restaurants and an ice cream shop in walkable range in Chesterton. Perfect location for the Park, restaurants, lovely, and great hosts!

I did not like that we shared our waterfront balcony with the rest of the hotel. I was under the impression our king suite had more privacy. we had to keep our view of Lake Chub and the wildlife it had to offer because of the traffic in front of our balcony doors had to stay covered. Other than that it was very pleasant.
We were very pleasantly surprised!! Loved the openess, and decor... especially the lobby and the breakfast room. (Breakfast was awesome!!)
Our stay was unexpected (family illness) ... so we were not prepared to be in town overnight. I'm glad we decided on your hotel. We WILL definitely be using you again!!
The location is absolutely wonderful my family and I decided to have a long weekend at the Dunes of Indiana and the hotel was maybe 10 minutes from the park. The night staff was a younger gentleman who was quick with assisting issues and accommodating in room changes.
location was close to Indiana Dunes National Park, which was our main destination. LOVED the lake and the various birds you could see from the balcony. the bed was comfy and it was very quiet (except for the lovely birds), pretty clean
Hotel looks ok from outside but the room is quite small and everything is very basic and kinda dated. The carpet has lots of stains and looks dirty. I expected something better when you paying more than $200 for a night.
The location was really nice and the hotel was much more wonderful than anticipated. I was a little weary of some of the pictures but the room was beautiful and I was super grateful for the cleaning ladies/gentlemen.
We did not eat breakfast in the hotel as there are lovely cafes in Chesterton. The dining area is very open and did not encourage us to stay and eat. The room was very big and the bed was comfortable.
