The breakfast was very good - tasty eggs, sausage, a waffle maker, assorted cereals and bagels. The pool was also a nice feature, but the hot tub was closed.

The Showboat Theater on the Mississippi River shore in...
The Showboat Theater on the Mississippi River shore in Clinton features excellent live theater aboard a dry docked paddle wheeler. The performances are professional quality including comedy, musicals, mystery, and more. In the north end of Clinton is Eagle Point Park, a city park, with a magnificent view of the widest part of the Mississippi River.
There are lots of restaurants and a major shopping center on the west side of town.
Country roads winding through farms west of Clinton are fun to explore.

We went to see Curtis Mansion we liked it.
We went to see Curtis Mansion we liked it. Went to the Sawmill Musuem it was OK disappointed nobody there to run the sawmill. Went to Clinton Lumberkings game we loved it we like older minor league parks. Walked along the river front very nice. We went to Eagle Point park views were not as good as advertised.Went and ate at Applebee's not very good. And we went to Stouts Irish Pub very good would recommend it. And for some reason their seemed to be a very bad smell at times don't know if it is from one of the plants or what smelled like soy beans.

Eagle Point park has the best view of the Mississippi River.
Eagle Point park has the best view of the Mississippi River. Many good places to eat but may have to ask the front desk for recommendations if you haven’t been here before. The are several places designed for kids, again ask front desk. There are many small towns on both sides of the river to visit. People coming to Clinton need to know of the smell. I grew up 20 miles away and had family living there so I’ve always known “the smell”. If I didn’t know what it was I probably would never come back.
Quiet and relaxing place next to the casino where I won a little bit. We stayed 5 days to visit our grandparents in Clinton . We hadn't been here on 18 yrs wow it has changed , of course it would very nice place to stay. Thank you for your hospitality. We will be back.
The location was great but the hotel is in desperate need of renovation. It was my only choice as the previously booked hotel cancelled my reservation because of damage to the room. I had to scramble to get a room and this was the only one left in town.
